For practice, I created a sliding door by using tweenservice (i only learned one advanced thing on my journey to being a dev) and i made the door open whenever a player touches a button and makes a little sound.

Hey smarty, I'm kinda new to luau and i wanted to learn how to code "Magic Spells", and combat systems. I've heard from many that making small games to practice is a key way to learn coding, but i dont have any small game ideas or minigames to make. I'd say make something where you collect coins by picking them up, and add more mechanics and things you can buy with the coins as you continue scripting and building it. you could end up with something cool and unique

I have things you can code to practice: 1. Make a block rain where blocks spawn at a random position,random size and random color 2. Make a ball that after clicking it two smaller spawn and those two when get clicked spawn 2 even smaller balls until they disappear 3. Make a turret that aims left then right then left infinitely and shoots projectiles that damage you and disappear after some time 4. Make a gear that when gets touched it flings any part in the direction your character is facing 5. Make parts that appear when you click and where you click Remember to google thing you don't know like how to clone things or other things you don't understand because its the main part where you learn more the second main is to use them try to understand them and if you cant remember it then go back to the source you got it from its okay to not remember everything instantly

quick tip: go to file beta features and assistant so then if you have a error copy it and tell the bot hey i keep etting this error "Your error here" and sometimes it helps you

I've started scripting by learning Basics on the tutorials and Roblox dev forum, then when i practice on some game mechanic. Once. I feel ready, I started using making a real game and when I see a advanced mechanic, I use a yt tutorial or if it's a unique mechanic I use chat get then edit the script.

Well my computer is so dumb i installed code and then wanted to copy paste somoenes code to see if its working in robox studio But it did not even if i write myself or copy paste anyones code and bcz of that i got a new computer, installed roblox studio again copyd a script i wanted to learn from. Then it did not work, again and again What is wrong with the code if i see code it imadiatly stops working
