Actually that's true but it's not the fast charging that degrades battery health but the heat that comes with it, so yes fast charging may not directly effect battery but indirectly it does

I always had Samsung Flagships, S10, S22 and now an S24 Ultra, and I have to say, whenever I have charged with Fast Charging, the battery lasted a LOT LOT less after that, talking from personal experience, and I used the phone the same, now that I have all battery protection and automatic settings to save battery, I can get about 1 full, about 20-24 hours of battery out of my phone with about 10 hours of SOT.

I always use airplane mode then turn on WiFi and turn off location. Of course turn on power saver.
