I needed this video. Balancing on the edge of being a runout player, and probably focusing too much on drills to "perfect" my stroke. It's reassuring to hear that just running racks CAN be beneficial practice if done right.

@caloster7664 Glad the video resonated with you! Balance-it’s easy to get caught up chasing perfection in one aspect of the game. Runout practice ties it all together...and it's fun. 😸 Keep pushing toward a runout mindset-you’re on the right track! 🎱💙

The #1 run killer for the amateur (besides missing) is getting out of line on the next shot. To recover, this often requires a shot that's beyond many players. In a match, this would be a good time to play a safety. If you're practicing runouts alone and don't get the desired position, instead of banging balls around, move the cue ball to where you wanted it to go and try to run out from there. You'll start to recognize certain types of position shots that give you trouble. From there, you can practice those particular shots alone.

@nvpoolshooter Great insight! 👏 Pocketing the balls is only part of the game-cue ball control is king. Re-creating missed positions and replaying them is the key to improvement. Thanks for sharing your knowledge! 🎱💙

Rotation pool against the Ghost has made my Fargo jump 20 points in four months. Not a great shot maker, but working on position play. Great video!

That’s awesome! It is great practice, 20 Fargo points in four months is no joke! Maybe others will be inspired by your story...if it's good for them, it's good for pool.😸 Position play is where it’s at-keep dialing it in. I love shooting all easy shots! 😹 Appreciate you watching and sharing your progress! 🎱💙

Awesome video. Thanks for the tips. Other than this what else would you say this was the fastest road to improvement? Please create more videos that help us run out and if the run out is not there, how to win more matches. I hope you get more subscribers.

@intercrew99 Thank you for the kind words! The fastest road to improvement? Sounds like a "get rich quick" hustle, but maybe there’s a way. 😹 I like to focus on the weakest areas of my game. A lot of players avoid practicing their weaknesses, but that’s where the biggest gains are hiding. As we improve, it gets harder to spot those areas, so it's key to stay honest with ourselves. Pay attention, stay aware, and be vigilant. I try to learn and understand as much as I can-it all starts with awareness and attention to detail. This is the way. I’ll definitely keep making videos to help with running out and game strategy. Appreciate your support, and I hope the channel continues to grow with awesome viewers like you! 🎱💙

for the money ball I always do a stun shot, I feel the most confident with them and most of the time I won't scratch, if I can't do a stun I'll try to do a back spin

@bruce4139 Solid strategy! 😸 I like sticking to the vertical axis myself. Confidence is huge in pool. Appreciate you sharing your approach! 🎱💙
