Yes, this is always an issue. usually when I first get on the bike I will deal with numbness. But it always goes away, shortly after. I dig those gel pads, I could see that coming in handy on long rides, or tours. Its all about taking breaks, and time off the bike. Great video, love the channel.

The gel pads are pretty cool and I nice option to avoid gloves. Appreciate you watching.

What most impresses me about pro cyclists is not their insane cardio but rather how they can withstand the pressure on their hands, feet, and rear over thousands of miles. They really are superhuman, even if many are pumped full of PEDs.

My issue was white knuckling it while in traffic which made me laugh when you said that. Also, sore butt and/or exhaustion causing me to lay on the bars.🤣

I’m guilty of it as well sometimes haha. I’ll be riding along and just have to remind myself to relax. Same with neck and shoulders for me.

on the KTSP (Katy Trail State Park), I've seen a growing number of recumbents.... seems like a huge change, and a big financial commitment... but they always seem to be smiling.... shrug
