Coming back to watch this vid to clarify a few things and just want to say that this is very helpful. I wonder however if you would keep your preferred targets the same after the class changes in 7.3? Also you mentioned you might do some more detailed videos like this in the future if there is interest. I would love to see those.

Need to play some more on the new patch. Too early to tell for sure, but I think the general order of targets will be similar, with the exception that PT is now a worse first target if your team is melee-heavy.

A comment I had that I don’t see floating around out there is that if you’re going to pull or knock targets then it’s a good idea to let your team know that before the match starts. Many times I open with my assassin opener only to have the target pulled or knocked away from my LOS and it blows my opener burst which is a significant drop in team DPS. But if I know there is a pull coming then I could adjust accordingly. I do try to keep that in mind when I’m playing with those classes and adjust but it still happens quite a bit. Maybe I can handle this better somehow too. Thoughts?

Yeah communicating with the team is good but if you have a PT on your team, you should expect a pull in the opener almost always. As Assassin you want to usually rush in and get a mind trap off. So you don't always need to be the first one to open. Just mind trap, stay in stealth for a bit, move back towards your team, so that if there is a pull, you are in range for Phantom Stride opener

I do try to do that but sometimes it doesn’t work out as planned. In one instance the PT actually said “rush in and burn down a low gs enemy player the other team had. I mind trapped a sorc and used phantom stride to the primary only to have him yanked out a second later. But your point is a good one and I’ll have to be more aware of what the team might do. This also applies to knock backs off ledges and such. I’m sure I can do this better too but I feel like some sorcs use that knock back as a knee jerk panic reaction before any real danger and I’m not always able to react to it in the most optimum way based on what the other team is doing to me also in terms of their debuts / slows / roots / whatever. I’m sure I can do this better and I’m working on that too but I feel like this needs to be a two way street. Not referring to your play but just commenting on something to consider for players new to PvP that have those tools.

How is Sniper in PvP at the moment? It seems like a very fun class to play but requires a lot of outplay on the snipers part. Also great content you put out each and every day!!!

It's not a beginner friendly class imo. You're right. Need to outplay to win. In Arenas, expect to be first target a lot. And there is no outplaying a 1v3.

I would like to play areas but they are to comparative to the point where when new ppl try they get insulted when they dont do good...and im tired of putting these ppl on their place...that and i play madness i get target quick before i get a chance to do anything

Merc hard to Kill? After Reflect merc is free farm. And Mara low threat, i think burst Mara is pretty strong. This is just my opinion and experience in this patch

Thanks for your comment. Merc depends on how they build. After reflect they can still have super kolto, 100k heal from energy shield and chaff flare. Definitely not paper. But they dont have a real way out of the fight so by all means, kill them if there is no better target.

Yeah Carnage can do damage, but still not as scary as Deception Assassin Burst or even Concealment oper critting you for 140k

So u mean with threat, the potential of burst from a class or the dps at the end? With potential of burst operativ, deception, burst pt are strong, but dont forget rage jugg,

Yeah Rage Jugg can hit hard for sure. Another reason why I like to kill them first
