Ive finished a book 5 yrs ago which took me about 5 yrs to accomplish also. Its my first. And now i have finished the 2nd vol. It still could not land a publishing break. Im not an internet aavvy nor a techie myself. But tonight i couldnt sleep praying what to do. Until the LORD led me to this vlog just when i was about to litterally rest my eyes and call it a night. Also What makes you stand out. What’s your value proposition 4. Develop a marketing strategy long before you launch. Have your ducks in a row. Plan way in advance. 5. Send advanced copies to influencers who you think will like a copy of your book.

(And sometimes, I pull that off!) I do need to learn so much about marketing, though. My books won't help anyone unless people read them!

I woke up at 2;30 am and prayed for God to lead me to where I need to go because yesterday He told me that I need to relaunch my book "Speak to Me God I'm Listening-365 Daily Meditations for Those Who Want to Hear God Answer Life's Toughest Questions" and I KNOW that i could be a better seller than Sarah Young's Jesus Calling but I have been stuck and God is leading me to get unstuck. God is so awesome. This video is from 4 years ago and this is the first time I listened to it. While you were praying you said someone listening has started the book and is a chapter and a half in but procrastinating and busyness has stopped the writing. Lol that’s 100% me! I am exactly a chapter and a half in and got busy with life (had a baby and work) and just stopped all writing. Who do I go through for a publisher? God told me to write my autobiography of my life so I am ready to get it published. I don’t know how to do any of this. If you could give me some advice about where to send my book to, I would really appreciate it so much! I already got my copy rights from Washington DC I do not want no one to get my rights to my book as it’ is my life.I had a serial killer that almost killed me one night but I’ve been through a whole lot more. Hello 🙂 I just came across this video again and I found your comment. I feel like God led me to it. I prayed for you for a while before replying and I think God delayed me being able to reply for a little while until I knew what I should tell you. I've been writing for a long time and though I've never published anything, I've done most of the work involved. I would suggest Jerry Jenkins and shaelinwrites as two other good sources. They both have KZbin channels and give excellent advice on everything about writing. Don't be afraid to write about hard things. People suffer hard things and are helped by knowing that they're not alone. Often, the most powerful way to describe something terrible happening is by hinting at it. You don't have to write out the graphic detail. The reader will fill in the gaps with their imagination and it will fit to their experiences better than if you spell it out. Pray before you write and ask God to help you know exactly how to word things. I'm praying for you. I think you've probably had some hard things happen to you. I pray that God helps you and heals you and protects you. Love in Christ

They tell you to live this way and that....some even ask for money so they can show you how to live their way, they make you believe the way they did something is "the right way"...... In all reality we don't need to be taking other people's advice. We need to think for ourselves and keep our eyes focused on the Lord! Let Him do what He will with our life. Let go and let God 🙏 Also, if He wants you to write a book, it's foolish to put money in someone else's pocket to do so. Save your money and ask for His will be done and not yours. Impressive resume', I guess. But do you really know God? Rather I should ask: have you been KNOWN by God? "Known" in the biblical sense, of course. Several decades ago I read "Christian Books" by Christian authors and I have to say I found them all wanting; because while they were all filled with (supposed) knowledge about God, none of them seemed to get the relationship thing in its own proper priority. While I have written books for family and friends, I have never sought publication or sale, but I would love to meet another writer who really knows God and sows the Good Seed.
