I remember reading Mr. Jenkins’ Left Behind books when I was young. It’s funny to think of it: mini-me sitting in a recliner and reading these massive books for hours on end. I was so captivated by the series, and I think it helped me to process some difficult concepts (death, loss, relationships, faith). All that to say, I’m grateful to him for how his work enriched my life.

This comes at a time I really needed. God's providence maybe? Working on my second Christian Fantasy adventure epic, and wondering if there is a market out there for that any more. I had forgotten that the Left Behind series is commercially successful as well. Gives me hope. Time for me to keep building my backlist. ;)

Jerry Jenkins - such a humble man and with a wealth of knowledge on writing. I highly recommend,his teaching - I am sure, if you implement what he says, he'll cut your learning curve by years. He has made all the mistakes and pitfalls of writing over thirty or forty years so you don't have to.

@@damaridavis7278 When you log in to your account, there's a button which appears asking you, "Can't remember your password" - press there and it will ask you for your e-mail, so it can send you an e-mail with a link so you can reset your password on the account - it's easy. What's the problem - there's no special tool you need - only your brain and common sense.

Great interview! Very informative. I recently saw the movie LEFT BEHIND with Nicholas Cage. Really good story. Not preachy at all, but Christian message was conveyed with subtlety. I wonder how it compares with the book. Must check that out.

And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.” - Revelation 22:18-19 Please be careful when writing fiction based on Revelations, if it is not accurate. Left Behind is fictional, but uses the events as how it is. I really want you to take this to heart. :)

It is best if you leave stuff like the Rapture and Revelations overall alone and leave it as it is. But I am sure you have other great ideas that can turn into very successful books!
