I feel like a bit of context needs to be given for the people that were born in the 2000’s: Tims have been a staple, not only in NY, even though they originated there, but in the whole world for like 3 decades or so, Maybe more. The fact a couple of Tiktokers decided to wear them for a few months does not make wearing Tims a “trend”. Tims are like 501’s or Converse Chucks, they are not going anywhere!

Bruh what are those takes, timbs are everywhere and always were but this year they were the most hyped And opium is going nowhere cause the King Vamp has two features on the biggest songs in the world, carti is everywhere and he’s dropping his most hyped album, he is getting more mainstream and his style get’s alot more normal Plus Ken and Lone drop the their album aswell, was atbthe library once and there were 3 opium guys

The whole old money, quite luxury aesthetic was so stupid. Its a sad impersonation of social media influencers trying to dress in traditional gentleman's fashion but fucked up because their shit wasn't classic, just expensive and had luxury fabrics, but the cuts wrong and the style is wrobg. For the real shit look up gentleman's suit fashion from the 1900s-1960s and boom learn about the real luxury.

How can Sambas which are from like 1949 be a trend? I always have Sambas or Spezials considering they are quite inexpensive (110€), durable, comfy and basically full leather, but always thought they are kinda ugly ngl.

@Brian... "old money" wasn't born in 2022, and didn't die in 2024. Fashion trendy folks like you just started noticing the commonalities of how some people with money dress on the daily. Trust me, I know some folks with old money, and their fashion tastes did not start a couple of years ago, nor are they changing this year or in a couple of years from now. *There's a reason why* the "old money" aesthetic really doesn't change much from year to year.
