Copic sets are super expensive but last for years. I bought mine like 10 years ago and they just now are dying. You can buy individual copics on Blick for $7. They're still expensive, but they're so blendable that you can choose some basics and go really far with them. They're a great investment. Also most colors are refillable which makes them well worth the money.

Loli-Pop I never planned to buy them because of the price but you’re right it is a good investment if you use it often to colour and blend fast ,but since they aren’t lightfast I rather work with watercolours.

They have a video about how you can get Some stationary for under $25 on their website, it’s about 6 or 7 peices of stationary including a notebook, pencil case, pen, mechanical pencil, coloured pen and maybe some other things. I’m not sure if they stopped the budget but I don’t think they have. ($25 as in all of the stationary together)

Gotta correct something, Copics only bleed through the wrong kind of paper. You don't use printer paper or a sketch book meant only for pen/pencil. Multimedia, copic only paper, and marker paper are really the only kinds of paper you can use, but don't get copic paper if you want to do a lot of sketches/drawings, there isn't a lot of paper in them

Most of the famous and high quality stationeries are made in Japan.I feel so lucky to be Japanese.I have quick access to what I need and no need of travelling around the world or buying expensive stuff online.In Japan all the high quality stationaries are of a very good price,not expensive at all,sometimes even quite cheap!

I have _never_ heard of the Pentel Multi-8. That sounds just like what I was trying to do (unsuccessfully) with the Uni Style-Fit and multiple mechanical pencil inserts. Those look like bigger leads than mechanical pencils use. What are they, 2mm?

Clean Colors real brush pens. I like them very much. I use them to practice kanji though, but these are perfect for this. Pentel Multi 8 ... I have these also :D It is a shame, that they have more colors available, than you can fit into the pencils. The price is also a shame.
