Я була би вдячна, якби ви зробили відео, що пояснюють різницю між українськими словами, які мають схоже значення, але не синоніми. Додаток для перекладу трактує їх як синоніми, тому їх важко зрозуміти. Наприклад: говорити-розмовляти-спілкуватися; вміти-могли; думати-вважати; намагатися- спробувати; дієслова, що означають рух.

Their is a song by the band Харцизи with the title голубка. So, голуби is a pigeon, голувка is a dove and голубий is a shade of blue.

Dear Vakulenko, many thanks, this is really interesting. For "to wait" I learned "chekáty" which is similar to the Serbian word, I did not know about "zhdaty", but it is clear that both words are coming from the proto-slavic language. :) As for the "zhdanyky", those are something lik the Spanish "tapas", you eat them while you are waiting... In Austria we say "Tee trinken und abwarten", to drink tea and wait for the outcome.
