Skunks in ash down forest in East Sussex and there’s a lake in Southwater, West Sussex that has an alligator snapping turtle in it that’s gotta be at least 30kg, about the size of a car tyre. There’s a population of melanistic and albino roe deer down here in West Sussex too among other things that will leave you puzzled.

There are some big African spiders with big green fangs that live in the walls of Exeter Cathedral & have spread. I had two living in my house one winter. I also saw a crane on the river Dart at Totnes. They look like they are wearing a bustle. Apparently there is a breeding population in Somerset.

I wanted to see a muntjac in the wild for years, ever since I was a kid. I lived on the edge of the New Forest national park, and would spend hours going for walks in the woods looking for wildlife. Never saw a muntjac. Then one day about 6 years ago there was a knock at the door and it was an Amazon parcel being delivered, and as I stood on my own doorstep signing for a parcel, I saw movement out the corner of my eye and looked up to see a muntjac just casually strolling along the edge of the woods at the end of the cul-de-sac I lived in. Mad but magic moment for me that I'll never forget.

@@Harrissssonnno I didn't and your logic or lack of it is staggering. All animals are found in some areas, how does this make them rare?! Just because you see an animal in one area and not in another area doesn't make them rare.

If u ever want to go on a cheap holiday, go to Lelystad in the Netherlands. Lots of otters, sea eagles, beavers, kingfishers and storks right when you ride into town. There is a free nature park where they breed lots of animals for rewilding Europe. Where they have boars, European moose, captive otters, Patrick David deer (not European) and more. Also lots of forrest and a famous park called oostvaardersplassen.

There's plenty of muntjac deer where I live. and Roedeer. When I was a kid there was Roedeer in the fields and Woods Only. now the muntjac outnumber the Roedeer. My guess is they travel along the motorways. Where I live now is just across the other side of the motorway from where I used to live about a mile. The Fields across the road from me I often see both species of deer. But what I miss most is no skylarks singing any more. That field across the road from me hasn't changed in 60 years. Where are all the Birds

@@WildlifeWithCookie The late Don Merton was the hero of that one, along with the black Robin Old Blue. When I was a very young kid in England in the 60s I saw a red squirrel up close about 18 inches away through the branches. I think the location was the' New Forest'(?), I'd have to say it was as beautiful a mammal as I have ever seen . Very bright russet red with tufty ears! Seeing a large Southern Right whale up close from a wharf and a pod of 17 Orcas in NZ, are the other super memorable wild animal encounters I've had. I wish I had been able to record them.

Great video dude. Correct me if im wrong but I thought gray squirrels wiped out the red ones not because of disease but because they have stomachs that can cope with unripe acorns and what happened was the red ones basically starved due to the gray ones eating everything before it was ripe? Really interesting to hear we have stck insects and and racoon dogs, have you looked into Britain having skunks living here now? Would be amazing if you could manage to video one. Im positive me and my friend saw one when we was younger, we recently looked it up online and turns out we've had skunks living in the uk since the 80s or 90s which pretty much confirmed for us that we really did see one all those years ago

What’s a mud jacks I’ve never heard of one does it look like a gorilla or maybe a camel. Or maybe a pug with tiger stripes. Is the Christmas grinch a mud jack. Am I going to disappointed.
