That is so wrong Australians can't even own them, and yet people in other countries can. They are Australian native animals. They don't belong in other countries. Send them back to Australia.

There used to be a harpoon boat that operated from the isle of man that hunted basking sharks.

Orcas are the most widely spread species of mammal on the planet. Humans occupy less than 20% of Earth's surface and Devil Dolphins dominate 70+%, we just can't tell because we're so pathetic in the water.

Any updates on the Porcupine quills, or any explanation for the straw and dead chicks? Aren’t snakes fed with chicks? Anything released isn’t going to survive, so we gotta work out if anything needs rescuing

Only in the irish sea between may and October each year. Isle of man is the best place to see them.

Wildlife in the uk is a petting zoo compared to the states... over here, you have a chance at bear attacks, snake bites, cougars....in the uk if you die by animal, it's most likely a car accident with deer or livestock

Dumped pets is the most obvious explanation, but what if...someone rigged the whole thing so that we would see Lynx in Britain as a kind of softener, knowing they would or maybe setting up their re-capture?

Ooh, this is a problem! A breeding pair isn't ideal for restarting a population and after so long not in the UK prey like birds may not be able to adapt... but they are nativeish. I'd be in the "wait and watch" camp, keep an eye on them and see what the effect is on the ecosystem and the Lynx.

Picked the absolute worst time to do it, seriously for any semi tame animal , even human steppin to the highlands in near -20 conditions with no food and all the water frozen over see how long you would last. I have been lost in a scottish blizzards and we were at the point of making peace with god because within a few short hours we were going to die but we got lucky. Even been an atheist i the first thing you say when you are rescued is thank god. Highland winter temps and it happens to be the coldest in near 20 years will kill you quick , even if you think a wild animal can last in the wild those animals had no idea where they were or how to go about finding shelter or where to hunt or attempt to hunt , when everything was sheltering under ground, terrible stupid animal cruelty.

Really?! There are people in the UK who don't know about how Red Squirrels are our native population?? huh.
