I have the Mountain and Wishbone Ash albums. I saw Wishbone Ash open for The Who in 1971. Jim

The debut album from Cactus in 1970 is really good, the band never had a hit single and is underappreciated and overlooked by a lot of people.

Oh I am in full agreement. Great one, for sure. I have the 2nd as a physical copy, but not that one. Thanks for watching! 🤘😁

If you jam "Rat On" together it becomes "Raton" and "Raton" means Rat in Spanish. Deep cut lol

These LPs didn't get enough love, in their original run: 01 A L O N E T O G E T H E R Dave Mason Probably the all-time best album Dave would record, of his 14 studio albums 02 M O N A B O N E J A K O N * Cat Stevens The absolute best of all his albums 03 L E O N R U S S E L L ( I ) Leon Russell An overlooked gem of an album, released in the wake of the Mad Dogs & Englishmen tour 04 J G E I L S B A N D ( I ) J Geils Band The absolute best of J Geils Band 05 E M I T T R H O D E S ( I ) Emitt Rhodes The artist behind the Merry-Go-Round, known for Live and You're a Very Lovely Woman, an excellent 1st solo LP * His 3rd album, but the first two were Pop albums, products of the A&R system of the '60s, and mostly crap. Mona Bone Jakon is the first album of his "solo" career, as a Folk-Pop Rocker. I saw him in both guises, in 1967, and 1971. The latter was 1,000% better! Substitute either of these, if his two Pop clunkers invalidates Cat ** E L T O N J O H N ( I ) Elton John ** J O H N L E N N O N / P L A S T I C O N O B A N D John Lennon

Wishbone Ash and Mountain debuts are great! Just listened to "Lady Whiskey " this week. Smokin' tune! I would have to include the 1970 debut of Goose Creek Symphony. Excellent songs and instrumentation, and they had also appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show, at the time, and played the Atlanta Pop Festival in 1970.
