Now, if only the vending machines were up to the high standards of many of the other countries he has visited. Some of these sandwiches truly were subpar. I could get the high price if they were good, but dang. Some of these are worse than what I have found in bathroom vending machines around here near where I live for considerably lower cost.

I think most people have forgotten something, the purpose of robots were actually to reduce costs in hiring over time and for more efficient production so goods can be sold at a lower price. However, most of these novelty robot selling food seem to have much higher price than buying from actual local people. After the novelty has faded, why would consumers even choose this over the traditional?

Pretty soon, there won't be a choice. If they lower the price even a little, when the novelty wears off, it'll seem like quite a bargain and the business owner will still make a big profit since he/she still doesn't have to pay wages and benefits.

Tried the sandwich vending machine once and never again, the bread isn't toasted and while you're holding it and you feel that it feels hot/warm on the outside but the fillings inside is not. Depending on what sandwich the machine is selling some of it has very little filling and not worth it 7-Eleven used to sell that Bobo product but it's cocktail sausages with cheese sauce and uses the same packaging
