Valuable stories Peter.. the moral of story number 2 for the guy is dont make a bar girl lose face by bringing her back to your room and changing your mind and not paying her anything (trouble will occur)and moral number 2 is why did u call the police and then say u dont want the get involved. On your next visit to Thailand get to the pharmacy pronto and purchase yourself a large bottle of cop-on tablets.

I've found in Asia you have to learn how to say just trim it, or just cut a little off, not just one way but a couple of ways. I learned the hard way my first few years living in Asia when I too was using translators etc, to tell them this, but having them misinterpret it as please cut it short. Makes me think there are some cultural differences even in something like getting a simple haircut which causes them to make this misinterpretation. Now I say it a couple of different ways to avoid the confusion and always show them with my fingers how much I want them to cut. Even then, they still sometimes think I want it real short, but it happens way less now.

Hi Peter, short air makes you very young :) so, see the positive . Story 2 seems the opposite of Story 1 or vice versa :) I never went with a working girl, so far , not sure in the future :) however, the guy in Story no.2 needs to know that 1. prostitution in Thailand is illegal. So he needed to declare to the police....why he brought the girl in the room... 2. I assume that some farangs are not "nice" ...I saw in you tube and myself on my trips over there...so this can make any girl(s) .."diffident" 3. Again not all girls choose "that job" so with a little of understanding and respect he could apply to her request.. just he needed to remember that in U.K. in any Pubs, a nice cold Pint is paid in advance .... so ... no money no honey..🤣🤣

Hi peter great to here the stories for my Saturday morning cheers, the second story does this guy not relise prostitution is illegal in thailand, he tells reception to call the police she says he wasnt going to pay up front for fun that night only one person getting arrested, you were lucky, and you got the police involved then said you dont want to press charges so what was the point involving them i had a nut job from a LK metro ago go got back to the room give 1000 baht and said leave best option
