Fire! As a digital nomad, I use AirBnB and Uber all the time, so this is a no-brainer here. Am I still able to utilize both of those avenues as an American citizen?

Hey, do you mean that you live in America? If so, then the Uber thing I think is UK specific, in the US they may offer something else. But if you live in the UK, then your citizenship doesn't matter.

Hello, I just did the last point and collected 640 avios jn total. It was a bit tricky because indeed one has to qualify for the survey in order to take it and finish it (and therefore be eligible for 500 avios). In one of them I went 70% and then got rejected (because I marked that I didn’t spend any money on games, don’t make this mistake😮). However, upon 5th or 6th survey it all went through and I got points for the survey (40) plus 500. So indeed it took about 30 mi s and try and error but made it on the other side. Good luck everyone! Hi, thank you for this video, I learnt about Avios after a big trip I made a month ago and want to make good use of the over 5000 Avios points I collected (and more I'm planning to accumulate hopefully thanks to your video). Is there an option to collect points from recent Airbnb stays? I wish I'd seen your videos before my trip!!!

Hey, unfortunately, I don't think you can claim Avios for a previous Airbnb stay. But I hope you have plenty of opportunities to collect them going forward!

What class of service did you have in mind? But generally: 1. Price up the Avios flights (BA.com -> book -> book with Avios). Let's say it comes out to X Avios and Y pounds in taxes 2. Find cash flights you'd be equally happy with. Let's say these cost Z pounds. 3. Figure out how many £s you're saving per 1K Avios: (Z - Y) / X * 1000. Ideally this figure should be ~£10 or more. If it is below £5, then it's most likely not worth it - you can get more value by transferring your points to Nectar.

I tried to sign up for the Avios for thoughts, at the section to give membership number, I used my BA membership number and it says invalid. I do not have any other way to find any "Avios Member number" as the Avios website stated it has closed down and redirect me to BA.

Hey! Are you a member of BA Executive Club? If so, you can go to ba.com, log in (right top corner) and then in your profile there you should see 'Memberhsip number'

I’ve signed up to the BA club for the avios collecting through spending. Do you know how long it takes for them to show up as I bought from the food apps after going through the BA app links

Depends on the store. There're a few that work quickly (< under 5 days) but most take around a month. However, if you just want to ensure your transaction was tracked properly, go to your account page on shopping.ba.com and it should show in your transaction list as pending.

That's a good question and I haven't been able to find a definitive answer quickly. In theory, I don't see anything that prevents you from e.g. going to booking.com via the e-store and making a booking. I wonder if they require that the spend is in GBP in that case? I think the easiest way to find out may be to just try with a small purchase that you were going to make anyway.

You can get points for offline shopping as well. You need to register your credit / debit card on shopping.ba.com first. And then pay with that card in store. I cover this in more detail in the video starting from 7:00
