Thanks for this. I find the shorter videos more useful. I look forward to more of them that are 15-30 minutes. Appreciate you all.

Great as always but the hours of intermittent fasting I have researched and practiced are best when you eat 9am-3pm(6pm at most). It has to do with the body best metabolizing insulin in the morning so you also want breakfast to be the biggest meal, lunch regular size, and dinner is a salad. This gives optimal effect.

Yep. Dr greger has a great video on this fact. Good comment!

I am so glad that I found your site and have ordered your book. I do fasting through the program Fast Like a Girl, but am dismayed at her continuing references towards eating meat. The fact that your program has been included in the PCM website and has a forward by Dr. Neil Bernard is a clear indication that your program is the correct one and I look forward to following it!!

Thanks for this video. I do agree with everything a plant-based diet low fat and low calorie density has to offer and I am doing this along with intermittent fasting. I am not a diabetic, but I’m doing this for health reasons and to lose some weight. My biggest question is when I did do keto in the past which I never intend to do again I was not hungry and I was not eating a high volume of food. I’m wondering if the low fat in my diet is causing me not to feel as satiating right now. .

Eat more food, especially fiber rich food. Hunger is your body's way of saying, it didnt get it needed. Real hunger-not addiction that we think is hunger.

Knowing you also have Hashimotos Cyrus, how does fasting affect our thyroid function? I can’t risk my metabolism to go any lower!

I see studies showing that intermittent fasting is effective earlier in the day - 8 AM to 4 PM or 6 PM, but many of the benefits are lost or even reversed by waiting to break the fast until noon or later. On what research are you basing the noon to 8 PM time window? I'm curious.

When eating a bulky diet, the number on the scale can really differ day to day! It was a good thing I was expecting that, so I can shrug it off.

Whi h one to follow, Carb density (g/100g of portion) or calorie density (kcal/100gof portion)? Either way, what are the limits?

It must be frustrating being as smart as you are Cyrus to have influences online playgiarise your work & knowledge but obsecure the message with their own interpretations. Especially when you are working in the medical profession everyday. Passing themselves off an self styled experts to gain traction

Very good advices but they are not for everyone. I have tried to eat some of these carbs .I had severe headaches and my blood glucose went 6.4mmol/l right away after eating black beans, with vegetable.

Question on wheat. Lets say I want to make bread or just generally something with flour. If I use whole wheat flour that I just milled myself from wheat berries, is that considered a processed/refined carbohydrate because I turned it into flour? Or is it considered a true whole grain because it still includes the bran and wheat germ?
@acdcmiami Жыл бұрын
Im pretty sure it is considered as refined and calorie dense. It just has healthier ingredients compared to supermarket bread.

Have you tried Ezekiel bread? Flourless and found in freezer section. Love it and several choices available.
