Okay, in all seriousness - corduroy is awesome! I have a beige pair and love to wear them with all kinds of colours! I'm now looking for something a bit more edgy though; I'm thinking a white pair!! However, I live in England, where the weather is forever sh*t and so I don't think white will work, because well, it won't stay white 🤣

4th outfit looks the best by far. Dark green goes very well with gray and black/charcoal turtleneck. The second best, in my opinion, is actually H&M. I've also got myself the same overshirt, but in black denim. Works surprisingly well with dark charcoal wool trousers, a turtleneck of the same color and black suede loafers. Not sure how well it will work for corduroy, but I've pressed the collar on my H&M overshirt so it looks more like the one on your Collaro jacket. You might want to try doing that, looks a lot better when it holds its shape. Regarding the sweaters and turtlenecks, I'd suggest to check Oscar Jacobsson, their Salim and Kristopher line of rollnecks has a very nice patterns and texture of the said rollneck, looks very nice. Also Pini Parma and Soft Goat has very nice textured and chunky cashmere ones.

4th outfit is superb 👌 perfect for day to day and could easily be worn with jeans to make it even more casual. Personally I find look 3 too formal for the university (if you are a student that is) 🙂

Haha, I ended up getting the same H&M overshirt but in dark green. I was there with my girlfriend and I NEVER shop at H&M either.

They really stepped their game up when it comes to styles. When I visited H&M the last time, probably around 10 years ago, pretty much everything they had was tacky and pretty weird. The quality is still questionable on most items though. ;-)

@@SartorialStyles I was there recently (couple of months). My impression is that most casual items they have (not tailoring, don't even bother with that obviously) is "OK-ish", but...always seems bland somehow, like they forgot those specific details that really make the item look great. You can almost "feel" that they don't spend on design and just produce "generic versions" of most things. That being said, this piece does look nice though. For more interesting but still cheap pieces I sometimes go to Gutteridge, particularly I like a few of the casual jackets (I bought a nice linen field jacket for very little), and the polos with shirt-like collar (something I had been looking for a long time) which I like to wear under non-coarse knitwear more than actual shirts (I hate having to fiddle with the sweater sleeves to fit over the shirt properly). Still, most everything else is too trendy. Odd jackets are way too short and slim, and while I've tried their trousers because they're one of the very few brands carrying some with regulators at low price, I've found them to be too tapered to be almost skinny in the ankle. Shoes are terrible (I only bought a white leather sneaker on a massive clearance sale and even then almost regretted it as it's just not comfortable despite being 100% leather). But what really boggles my mind is that their knitwear, while nice-looking and inexpensive, is actually extremely baggy in the waist, as if it's cut to accomodate old men with a beer belly, in sharp contrast to their bad super slim tailoring.
