My 5 week old is doing great considering what he's been through. He spent his first 3 days in the NICU for respiratory distress due to being a gestational diabetes baby. There were also complications for Mom and she had to spend an additional 15 days in the hospital and ended up with a 70 cm incision to remove abscesses that formed in her abdomen after her c section. We've been home from the hospital for a while now and she's slowly healing work a wound vacuum and the baby is doing great. He can be mighty fussy and he's not smiling or cooing yet but he is opening his word and taking in the world around him. I'm asking for prayers for my family that Mom heals back to 100% and that baby continues to thrive

God I just had the same thing but I’m still in hosp because I went home for 2 weeks with the abscesses and wouldn’t go back to the hospital. I was so sick I could have died. I had 3 abscesses but they drained mine not more surgery. How is your wife now one year later? I hope she has fully healed. It’s horrible. My baby is 5 weeks today and we are separated cause now I am in another hospital for something else. It’s crazy but hopefully going home in two days.

My 5 week old just loves to look at me. At her midnight feed, sometimes I can’t get her back to sleep because she just wants to take a moment to gawk at me. In the mornings, she and I have a little chat together and she gives me that sweet little toothless smile. I love being a mommy no matter how trying it can get sometimes.

My baby is 10 days short of being 15 years apart from his sister. So I basically forgot everything. Lol but I feel my dog is feeling neglected. He gets so little attention. I feel awful.

Love how social my 5 week old is getting! But it's difficult to leave the house with just the two of us😪 much easier on a day when his dad is off to go on walks in the morning. Amazing how an extra pair of hands can be. I thought I would be able to do it but no! Shocker 🤷‍♀️

God now I don't feel so alone or bad for getting frustrated because nothing I did comfort/settled him. He'll be 6 weeks Wednesday. New mom so I'm definitely still learning and of course he is too. Thanks so much for your vid's ive watched since I was pregnant.

My 5 week old is doing great and she is sleeping so well! I have a 6 year old and he is just the most amazing big brother. I worried about him being jealous because he is a Mamas boy, but he hasn't shown a single sign of jealousy. He just absolutely loves his baby sister and he rocks her to sleep and if she cries he is the first one to run to her side and he sings to her and calms her down. He has been an absolute blessing as I am a completely single Mom to this baby and he legitimately helps me a lot. He is always carrying her diaper bag and opening doors for me. I am so proud to have raised such a wonderful young man and I am confident that he will be an amazing man in his lifetime given the love and respect he has for both me and his baby sister.

Baby is 5 weeks today and boy is she fussy, she wants to be held constantly, is awake a lot if the time, but she is also very alert. She is starting to enjoy books and music a lot more too.

My baby sociable and loves me and her dad using rattling toys and shaking them around it really captures her attention. She loves making cooing and babbling. She seems to love being in the car and seems to sleep a lot during the day but keeps us up all night. I am watching these videos as she grows and they are really helpful.

My baby has started her 5th week today.... In a few days... She will be a month old now and we r happily waiting to celebrate her 1 month birthday... I am a ftm... And yes my baby has been staying awake fof short durations during the days and nights and i am making the most of me to enjoy these moments with her chatting, singing rhymes, introduced her to a newborn play gym, mirror play, music and movements and tummy time...

Allison Ahoney you probaly already have the answer now. But how much in each bottle. If hey are feeding every hour try upping the amount. At 3-4 week pur wee boy was on 5 oz.
