The story where the man is being asked for large sums of money towards hospital bills etc, as soon as the subject of money comes up in Thailand, you are automatically broke and can barely sustain yourself, I had a similar situation and when the subject of money came up, I cut all communication and I kept seeing her post like nothing changed in her life, so Don't fall for it.

Good stories this week. I can tell your voice is better after recovering from your cold. This past trip, in January, the airport taxi tried to charge me a flat rate of 1,200B to get to my hotel on Soi 10. I said, "no. Meter" He put the meter on and as we traveled, I noticed the meter was upto 500B and we were only half way. I said "that meter is not right." He tried to tell me to pay and then makr a complaint. It should have been less than 500B total. The "meter" read 950B when we arrived. I gave him 500B. He didn't complain. I overpaid but since it's normally 500B flat from the hotel to BKK, I didn't mind. Just my first taxi scammer. 1st story reminded me.

Story 4 is unusually brutal even for this channel. She was not a bar girl and he knew her for 10 years. Not clear if they were romantic or platonic. But if you had a heart I will also help my long term girlfriend pay family medical bill if they were legit. But now she is doing an obvious real estate scam. My suggestion tell the girl I was really stupid and lost almost all my money with a bad stock investment. Then see if she is still friendly. Maybe you wouldn’t have to break up with her because she will break up with you.

Great stories, Peter...yeah,that first story where she didn't go out with him because it was her time of the month; these girls should really tell guys that it's there time of the month or don't come to the bars because it's not fair that guys buy drinks for them and when it's time to pay the bar fine, she doesn't want to go because it's her time of the month. Stay home then if it's your time of the month. It's not fair to the guys spending drinks on you if you have no intentions of leaving the bar for whatever reason...

These stories are quite tame compared to meeting, two hundred and eight in excess a go go in walking street - turned out to be properly mentally challenged with major narcissistic personality disorders - turned out to be a nutcase - they intentionally ghost you to try to get you hooked - to which I was prepared for the trick, but wasn’t prepared for the reaction when they find out you know their scam - she got very angry at being found guilty of trying such tricks

Pete, I believe there are government hospitals for free for Thai nationals or a low fee. Could you do some research on this matter even if only for your own personal knowledge ?? ADDENDUM: Also, you may want to make an announcement of subscribers sending in stories with title of 1st offer (to yourself). Foreigners can use the government hospital as well they're very very cheap but typical government hospitals long lines long Waits but that's why you pay for private hospitals as far as you suggestion on the stories great idea but unfortunately not everybody would be honest about it

I have a serious problem with all these stories. The guy always says he is very drunk AND that the girl he just met is a "stunner" or "very beautiful", "hotties everywhere" etc. So I wonder how good looking were they really when most guys admit they were very very drunk in some dingy bar.

I get what you're saying. When you're drinking a lot, it can definitely mess with your judgment, and things can seem better than they really are. But I think a lot of guys are just caught up in the moment, having fun, and everything feels more exciting. Sometimes the bars aren't exactly high-end, but the guys are probably more focused on the overall experience than just the looks. They’re probably exaggerating a bit, too.
