Great video. I love watching the little ones get up the first time. A wakeboard is the best for first timers. One of my best memories was watching a 6 year old sitting on a kneeboard in front of me. Such pure joy. 🤙🏽

I'd love to try this with my 5yo as well. I can't tell from this video how you are helping her stand up while getting yourself up as well. Do you have any footage from the jetski POV? I would love to see a follow up instructional video on how to help a first timer 5yo wakeboard like this. Alternatively just come visit us in sunny Queensland Australia, it's just like Florida with endless sunshine and big lakes 😂

Sometimes I was actually putting my board under hers while keeping one hand on the bottom of her life jacket to keep her hips connected to the handle. Sometimes I just backed away a few feet. I don't necessarily endorse everyone to try this.

My nephew got up for the first time when he was 4 at OWC behind a Nautique. The instructor wouldn't let him ride at first though because he wanted to see if he could swim and whatnot. He put him on a wakesurf behind the boat, my nephew hated it and threw a fit. The instructor finally actually put him on a board not thinking he'd be able to get up. Low and behold, he got up after a couple tries. He's 15 now and still riding. His 7 year old brother got up this summer behind our Sea Doo GTX 230 Wake as a result of being ultra competitive.

Hard to say without seeing em but if they're average size for their age, I'd say the Hyperlite Murray jr 127. If they're big, go up to the 134 Prizm, which is the Murray shape in the girls graphic
