Love Hanhart watches. I’ll be severely tempted to add one of these before long. My only concern is the 42mm diameter and 49mm lug to lug on my 165mm wrist.

Lovely watch. Dive watch with kinda field style graphics and no date! Lovely
@typebflieger3 ай бұрын
I love the release! Yes, it evokes Superocean vibes, but actually pulls design cues from their Primus Diver Chrono. I love the modern design, colors, fonts, and handset. Just hope they eventually do a version around 39mm for those who prefer a moderate size.

Since you mentioned the similarity to a Breitling I cannot unsee it! 😅 Personally, I like these case cutouts. It's different, without being overly obtrusive.
@ColinRobinson923 ай бұрын
What a beautiful and original piece. I agree it seems to take some inspiration from the Super Ocean, and maybe Ball, but it's actually a more visually pleasing design than either.

One of my favorite watch reviewers and with a similar sized wrist I can get a good idea of a watch on wrist. Don’t own a Hanhart, but really like the brands offerings. Do own a Ocean Crawler Core Diver and in person it’s an even better looking watch than videos online.

The Germans are resistant to Swiss certifications. My Hanhart Flyback chrono runs well within COSC parameters but they don't publish it AFAIK. The timing bezel (not just for diving) is one of the most useful complications on a watch. I'm glad they put it on a tool watch.

Really dig this I have the 417c LE and I am ready for my next german watch I was going to get another Sinn but maybe another Hanhart first this is a perfect looking watch for me the price point is crazy for the quality I know this is going to be well worth the price for the crazy amount of value hanhart gives

Great looking watch , I actually like the cut outs blending in from blast beaded to brush they have done a very good job , as for the price wow pretty cheap for a dive watch. P.s also love solid casebacks esp with some type of picture esp like the old Omega seamaster pro had with the hippocampus on the caseback

If they update that clasp it’ll be one of if not the best value at the price
@nikc13133 ай бұрын
First impression i didnt really care for it but by the end of the review i could definitely wear this. Only thing i really dont like is the transition from brushed to bead blasted. It looks a little messy and im not sure those two finishes can transition in an aesthetically pleasing way so should have a defined border.
@thetimebombardier3 ай бұрын
Solid review sir and i like the brand's history but this is a little too generic and superocean for me to spend that kinda cash 👍😎
@RabbitWatchShop3 ай бұрын
Beautiful design. The two cons for me is the multi screw-in case back (I hate these; just stick to standard screw down casebacks; I don’t care about your caseback graphic or how straight it is) and lack of rapid tool-free micro adjust clasp. At that price, I expect a higher end, modern clasp, not something that’s from 2012.

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Two solid points.

Love the Hanhart brand, but the font for the numerals is simply awful.
@AX7razor3 ай бұрын
Really good looking watch but I feel like spec wise it’s a little underwhelming for almost 2000$. Micro brands offer way better value in terms of movement & functionality for way less. I was at least expecting a COSC/DIN certification for this price. I’ll pass on

Solid review. I like the cut-out transitions and really like the watch. But, nearly $2k for a Sellita 200-1 movement seems a bit high.
@watchreport3 ай бұрын
Well, in fairness the COSC Titoni I was talking about is $2,020, so almost $300 more just for the COSC movement, and an Oris 65 at retail is $2700 for an SW200. So in that regard, this is on the cheaper end.
@AntCar-z4s3 ай бұрын
@@watchreport I have a Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro 300 with the same movement and is as good as the watches you reference. It’s a terrific watch that can compete with those at half the price.
@watchreport3 ай бұрын
I’m not disputing that, I’ve reviewed quite a few CW watches over the years. My point was there are watches much more expensive than this with an SW200. Yes there are ones lower as well, I just reviewed the Ocean Crawler Core Diver which is $899 and also uses an SW200.. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a2iygGWLgLCLftksi=7dlUohMgYcrIi6_9

Another dive watch… Meh. 😑 Why did it have to be yet another dive watch? Literally the market is already so saturated that the last thing consumers need is yet, another dive watch. From Timex to Rolex and beyond, the range of choices is pretty well covered. It’s just ridiculous at this point. Sorry. I’m sure it’s a nice watch, but I just can’t get excited about it.
@watchreport3 ай бұрын
@@03flhtcui hey we all have our likes. I mean, there’s a lot of pilot watches and lot of field watches as well. Dive watches are popular of course, probably the most popular and Hanhart decide it was time to make one. Good news is their catalog is filled with non -divers, including the new Preventor HD12. Go check them out. 👍
