Love seeing Jared enter his cinematographer era! Put some respect on his name 😤

When Jared said simple I was like yes. That’s it. That’s what I want. I read somewhere recently that simplicity is true elegance. Or something along the lines of that. You want a relationship that you can feel peace and ease in not more drama or confusion or fear.

Congrats Shan & Jared for making it to your 5 year anniversary!!! I hardly ever comment on your videos, but I’ve been watching y’all’s content since 2018. Watching your content has truly transformed my personal life, and has given me new perspectives on how I see myself and how I view love. I see you as the big sister that I never had. Congratulations again! ❤❤❤

This was beautiful. You saying “thank you for making the load easier” and him describing a relationship with you as simple. Those are like the epitome of the best things a man and woman could feel about each other. I’ll be honest - I am shocked this marriage lasted but I am very happy and proud and in favor of it, too. And, I wish you a lifetime and congratulations!!!!

Not surprised at all. You clearly have great communication and self reflection tools. You set intentions for your life and relationships, and choose to put in the work to achieve those goals.

Resenting your reality after parenthood. That hit a cord with me. I would love to see a video where you both dive into the topic of life after having children. How it has affected you both individually and as a unit in marriage.

I literally love watching the content and art you guys create. You guys are part of the reason why I started making content myself. The visual that Jared created fully encompasses how I see your relationship. I think you guys have a love that is so precious and beautiful. I was vicariously living through you guys watching this because my husband and I will be married 5 years as well this year and everything you guys said in this video I also feel in my relationship and I just loving watching you guys love each other. It’s so refreshing and just admirable. All of it is admirable the good and the bad. Thank you guys for sharing.

Happy anniversary guys! I'm not surprised at all that you have made it thus far. You guys have a good thing going on based on what I've observed over the years. I envy the 'safe space' that you guys have of being open and honest with one another. And it seems to be received with respect and consideration of each other. I hope you never lose that.

When Shan climbed out of the window onto the rooftop of her old apartment building to help Jared shoot his music video , I knew it was a love that would pass the test of time. I have watched you guys and your channel evolve into a work of art held together by the grounding yet ethereal nature of love. Keep evolving. It is the reason we exist. Congrats on your 5 year anniversary 🎉. And here's to many more to come . 🎉

1st of allI absolutely LOVE this new style for yall! I already really appreciated the good lighting, clear image, audio quality, & attention to details like background. Also enjoy when you include stuff like the potted tree falling in the background. lol! But everything about this is awesome. I am neurodivergent. I get easily over stimulated with sound in particular. You guys found a way to stimulate most of the senses without OVERstimulating them. That’s fucking art! 🔥 Also, the sponsored portion was very easy to listen to and much more engaging.

What a beautiful love to celebrate! Would love to hear about that daily intentional time together - what does that look like and have you always had that habit or was it an intentional decision to do so?
@shanboody10 ай бұрын
It starts with this question: “what do you want to do?” And genuinely being curious about their answer even if you want something different. Bc truly we only have 9-12am as responsibility free time I want for both of us not to compromise. Sometimes the answer is, I wanna scroll on my phone for a bit then check in. Sometimes it’s I wanna do some work/ finish some errands. Sometimes it’s let’s make a snack and talk. Most of the time it’s let’s watch something and touch on each other. It’s our sacred time, and that doesn’t always mean doing something together sometimes the act of love is 💯 guilt free time to be alone

You said 3hrs at the end of the day and then you changed it to 2hrs. I was afraid if the video was longer you’d say those 2 minutes at the end of day are sooooo good, lol. And simple, I think he means the relationship lacks unnecessary drama. I love that in my marriage too. No insults, no toxicity, no passive aggressive comments- you just deal with the reality of the situation as partners. I’m happy he said that, because I’ve noticed more often men bring the drama in marriages and call drama free ‘simple’ relationships boring.

Congrats. Being able to describe your love is already. Win in my book. Many people go years without being able to reflect on their love /relantionship and I believe it’s because they themselves are not self aware. This video and your words shows the deep work each of you have done and that self awareness spills over to your relationship. love to see it.
@Khadijah_time9 ай бұрын
Not sure what you mean about what “many people” are unable to do. But I guess it’s because I don’t ask people about any reflection of their lives/relationships for my consumption/curiosity or the like so… This is literally their bread & butter and we all have to hustle out here, so if they love it I love it. Wish them and all couples the best.
@Lulonutrition9 ай бұрын
By saying unable i meant that exactly, some people have a lot going on that working on themselves does not come easy so they are no able to be that self aware. I was congratulating them on the work they have actively put into themselves and therefore their relationship and how it shows on the way they communicate to each other. I'm sorry if I didn't explain myself correctly. @@Khadijah_time
@Lulonutrition9 ай бұрын
I meant to recognize it's not easy to reflect on a relationship, to work on ourselves because we do have a lot going on. The way they express themselves is an example of what it may look like when we have the time and can make the effort to work on selves. Sorry if it came off wrong. I just wanted to highlight that working on oneself is beneficial to the relationship you are in. @@Khadijah_time
@Lulonutrition9 ай бұрын
@@Khadijah_time your right and what I should have written was it can be hard for me (i can’t generalize my experiences) to find the time and put in effort to work on ourselves while in a marriage / relationship. Seeing their deep work on themselves and how it spills over their relationship is inspiring.
