I’m from the UK but living pretty much full time in Canada with my wonderful Canadian husband, I realised as I was going through my chemo that the only person who was stopping me doing whatever I wanted with my life is me and I haven’t looked back since. To date I’ve flown to and from Canada on my own and with my husband, something I never thought I’d ever do before diagnosis as I had crippling anxiety issues including agoraphobia stopping me going out. I see my cancer as a gift too, it gave me my life back and a MUCH better one than I ever had before cancer. Stay strong and healthy.

After watching so many beautiful people with their cancer journey not going in the right direction. It’s so nice to see a great outcome. ❤❤ My brother was diagnosed with Hodgkin disease when he was 10 he went in to remission unfortunately relapsed within 2yrs. The 2nd time round was absolutely horrific for him, was stage 3 they trialed this new chemotherapy on him which made him extremely poorly, he caught shingle spent so many weeks at The Birmingham children’s hospital we really thought we were going to lose him…….fast forward 39 yrs later from first diagnosis he is living in Vietnam working as an English teacher living his best life. Only negative he took with him from his cancer journey he became infertile and his heart grew bigger. Im so grateful for all the amazing oncologists, nurses and Birmingham children’s hospital. Thank you for saving my brother. ❤

Ellie, I am so glad you have come so far. I had followed you from the beginning of your journey. So many of us have been hoping to have an update from you. I know you said at 10 years you would give another update. I was really hoping you would reconsider and give a sooner update. There are others out there who may be going through the same cancer you had and would benefit from some things you might not have thought to bring up at the time you were going through it. Some people only have KZbin as a source for information like you went through. They might not have things like instagram. When you don’t post regularly or at least every so often your videos get pushed way to the bottom of the algorithm and perhaps won’t be seen by parents of children or teens who would really love to have and could really benefit from your journey and especially to help give them courage by seeing it is possible to survive this kind of cancer or even many other forms of childhood cancers. Thank you!

Hi Ellie, I live in South Africa. The sun is always shining here and there is always the risk of developing skin cancer if you have a light skin. I developed a growth on the lower eye lid of my right eye. I do not know if it is cancer or just a benign growth but I went on a high nutrition diet for about two months and the growth have shrunk noticeably. I would like to share the diet with you. The soup Ingredients: - two handfuls of Chopped broccoli, one chopped onion (purple), two bags of green tea, two pinches of mixed herbs, two sticks of cut celery, Two handfuls of frozen and crushed spinach or kale, half a table spoon of crushed garlic, Three shakes of black pepper, seven shakes of turmeric, two tablespoons full of apple cider vinegar (with the mother), one bag of white onion powder soup for flavour, a hand full of cooked red speckled beans and a handful of cooked mince meat. Just add all the ingredients in a pot, add boiling water and switch the stove on high till the water boils. Then lower the heat until the water simmer, Let the soup simmer for an hour. The soup is now ready. I would only drink water in the morning. At 12h00 I would start eating the soup. There will be about two helpings that you can eat in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. I also ate a fruit salad every day in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame. (Note: Apparently turmeric reduces the effect of some chemotherapy drugs and thus should not be taken during chemotherapy.) During the rest of the week I would also eat food that contains vitamin D like avocado’s, mushrooms, liver and eggs in the 12h00 to 18h00 time frame.
