You are such a talent 🤩 After years of practicing I still need help in our club to see where I want to go with most of my trees and when I see how fast you see the potential 😍

Is there an optimal time of year to do this amount of wiring? And are you fertilizing more or less during this wiring period. Lovely shimpaku! Very graceful.

Avoid spring growth period into summer. Anytime between end of summer to winter I find the best time however if you are very careful you can do over spring and summer.

i have been getting into making the super convoluted bends like the japanese growers lately my self ("mountain" or mountain tree ive heard them call it).. use my pliers for the hard bends. also guy/guild wire with air tube to protect trunks to hold tight bends firm. ive also seen them core out the trunks to get better bends on the older/hard wood juniper trunks. fun stuff tho! nice work and always great content sir! ty!

No prob man. You do great work. Enjoy your channel. Only thing for me is that you do work I typically can not do at certain times because your in Australia and I'm in Western Canada. So it gets confusing sometimes, that's ok. I know what time of year works here.

silly question would there be any benefit of leaving some longer growth after the heavy wiring.
@Bonsaiworx11 ай бұрын
Great question actually. Yes you can leave some longer growth especially if you wanted to thicken up an area of the tree. You could then jin off that branch and make it a feature deadwood.
