I have a 2018 NC750X and I have done about 14000 Km. It’s my first bike. I like everything about it. It has enough power for highway speeds and it doesn’t struggle on dirt roads.

Thank you SloRida for a very good video. I have a 2020 NC750S with a manual gearbox and have to agree with you, what a brilliant motorbike they are.

The BMW F650CS "Scarver" had the same tank-under-the-seat arrangement, but the filler was offset so you didn't have to unhinge the seat to access it.

Nice calm video, Florida. I liked it. I have a 2020 NC750S & love it to bits. Got a great deal on an almost new one which had the expensive rack and Topbox already on. I too, bought the official centre stand. Saw vids where people said they rust out, so I filled it to the brim with grease. No problem with it in 3 years. I put a nice NC750 logo guard in front of the Rad, so stones are annoyed. So many pluses, as you state. 2 helmets in, lets me and my girl look like tourists when we get off in summer. The way the Pots are so far forward, coupled with the fuel under the seat, the centre of gravity is really low, which makes the bike so docile, yet plenty of power wherever I need it. I preferred my 4 cylinder 650 for the smoothness, but still fine with two. Fuel economy is a bit bonkers. Runs on air, I think. Road noise from the front is odd, but not a biggie... A fab all rounder, for me... ( and you, I think!). Safe rides, baby.

I just testrode one today and was kinda thrown off by the noise from the front. Does it go away once the starter tires are replaced?

I fitted a permanent 12v cigarette lighter port to the battery in the frank & a switched live USB port - safe & secure charging on the move or overnight. Also bought a s/ hand rear seat and cut a "d" shaped slot over the fuel filler so no need to remove any luggage !!

The fuel filler idea is a good one, I like that. I might look into something like it. I have the bits to put a charging socket in the frunk, but haven't gotten around to doing it yet.

Hi bit late just found this i have a 2016 nc 750s , i had a fight with a pothole and had to have new rear suspension and other work costing £2500 , and before that i neede new rear wheel bearings. I love the bike i ride it on long trips the best mpg was 101 for a 75 mile single way trip i have done plenty of longer rides at 85 mpg . My only criticism of this bike is the seat i did 300 + miles on my gsx and did not feel as.bad on my bum as 30 miles.on this i am a.keen cyclist so started using my cycling shorts too see if they will help anyadvice .my next expense will be a new chain .

@@andrionusthemage1016 Wow, you got really unlucky with that pothole. I know people have said it's a hard seat, but honestly I don't have a problem with it. I often joke that I have a padded backside though. I know you can get additional cushions and soft padding from third party companies (and even Wish!), but I haven't bought any. Sorry I can't help more, but I genuinely haven't bought anything extra. Thank you for watching and commenting though.

Hi thanks for the review, (dang !…it looks cold 🥶), I have 3 questions 1. How tall are you 2. Do you have any experience with a pillion on the bike ? 3. If yes to No2 what’s there any feedback from the Pillion Passenger ? Cheers and ride safe 🤓👍

Thanks for watching. I'm very slightly under 6 foot (about 180cm) with an inside leg of about 2 foot 8 inches (about 81cm). I've never ridden with a pillion.

SloRider, I have a ADV 150 with the dct transmission, love it as an older rider, perfect for where I ride but really looking into the NC750. When I go into a corner I never have to break, just lay off some throttle and bike engine breaks very smooth. Do you get same effect from NC750?
@slorida
@slorida 10 ай бұрын
There are many things to take into account when answering that sort of question, like how you ride, what roads you're on, and so on. Also I have the manual transmission, rather than the DCT, but I think the engine braking is pretty good on the NC750 and there are indeed many times I don't have to apply the brakes to slow for corners, or even for give way lines/stop lights with enough warning. Much of the smoothness on the manual transmission is related to use of the clutch, something that the DCT would take care of.

Can I ask does the rev counter change colour, because it looks like it's going blue to green, or is it just a camera illusion 😅
@slorida
@slorida Жыл бұрын
It does change colour. I believe it is meant to show how efficient you are with the throttle, but I have never properly understood it. It goes orange/red with high throttle input.

I have the same bike, and in my opinion it’s not a highway speed bike. Yes, it is perfect in a city but on a highway without a wind protection it’s no longer enjoyable. I do have the same small windshield and on speeds 130 km/h and over it’s barely possible to move a head left right and relax on bike. And also my butt starts to hurt after 160km distance on that seat making me stop and have a break. I would definitely not go to a Europe trip on it. Not sure how you did it
@slorida
@slorida Жыл бұрын
Can't say I've taken it above 130kph/80mph due to speed limits, even in Europe, so I'll take your word for that, but I'd imagine that is similar on all naked bikes. I guess seat comfort is subjective, I have no problem riding all day on it though.
