I'm from the south and with all the rain and humidity our junkyards have a shelf life as far as old stuff. I would love to explore junkyards out west. A friend of mine who goes out west a lot warned me though. If it is warm weather, always watch where you step, never reach under a hood to open it, never lay on the ground and look under stuff and don't just fling doors open. He said the last time he went he saw several rattlesnakes in cars, a few nests of scorpions and several desert wasps.

Yeah I remember going to the junkyards in the 70's searching for the one part we needed. That imitation you did was spot on. They were usually grumpy old men who would snap at ya if you asked a question. I thought you were going to show the Route 66 pavement. I like that historic stuff. Thanks for the video. Great job.

Hi Steve, I happen to have a 91 Dog 12-valve, early 2007 Dog, and a 4bt 3.9 that I’m transitioning from my rat rod into a 66 C20 Chevy. Everything I have is drivable. When it comes to diesels Cummins is my choice, they’re simple for me to work on. Gas motors I prefer GM, all though I have had a few Fords. That first Gen Dodge is too nice for me to drive but I do admire it. From a Retired IW 433/BA (Over the hump to Pahrump)
