Plato’s Closet is NOT a thrift store!! It’s a resale/consignment shop!! Thrift stores take clothing from... whenever... but consignment shops, specifically Plato’s is VERY selective and they only choose clothing from within the last year, and from very good, expensive brands ❤️❤️

Jaeda Jolee at goodwill or other thrift stores all of the clothes are donated but at plato’s closet people sell their clothes to the store and the store resells them (so thrift stores are usually cheaper)

Jaeda Jolee Plato’s closet isn’t donation based you can sell your clothes to them & they are very picky on what they take. Thrift stores like Goodwill and Salvation Army take everything and sell it for dirt cheap! (& I love it!!)

When you go to the thrift store, If you want to try stuff on, just wear a tank top and possibly leggings, to wear under the clothes. If you feel gross. Then wash them when you get home. Most new clothes at stores have tags that specifically state to wash your new clothes before you wear them, because they have chemicals on and debris from transport.
