Half of these aren't comedies and don't have a single laugh in them while Carry On Up the Khyber isn't included?!

Thanks for your comment! I get where you're coming from-comedy is super subjective, and not every film hits the same way for everyone. The list tries to include a mix of classic and modern British humor, so some might lean more toward dry wit or satire than outright laughs. As for Carry On Up the Khyber, it’s an iconic pick for sure! I may have to do a follow-up video for classic comedies I missed-great suggestion!

No “Carry On…” films?

Great question! The 'Carry On...' films are definitely classics and a huge part of British comedy history. I debated including them, but since there are so many in the series, I felt it might overshadow some other gems that deserved the spotlight. Maybe I’ll do a dedicated video just for the 'Carry On...' series-what do you think?

Someone has a weird idea f what a comedy film is in my opinion.

Thanks for your opinion! Comedy is such a broad genre, and everyone has their own sense of humor. This list includes everything from slapstick to dark satire and dry wit, so it might not all fit a single definition of 'comedy.' Hopefully, there are a few on here that made you laugh, though!

Ridiculous not to put Life of Brian at No.1!!

Thanks for pointing that out! Ranking such amazing films was no easy task. Life of Brian is iconic and could easily deserve the top spot for many fans. Ultimately, I placed Monty Python and the Holy Grail at No. 1 because of its massive cultural impact and timeless humor, but I totally get why you'd champion Life of Brian! It’s such a close call.
