@Cameron Putt I agree, they may have been jpop metal but only on the first album. It has so many popy sounds like the song Iine or Doki Doki Morning. Not a fan of them but they're decent. Metal Resistance, the second album tho, boy! The only reminiscence of pop there are the girls' vocals. There are heavier songs like Sis Anger or Karate and softer like Awadama Fever or Yava I guess. Also a ballad No Rain, No Rainbow which is awesome live. The only song I don't really care for is Amore. It just doesn't click with me. This is their best album IMO cuz it just has the most Metal within it. And Metal Galaxy, the most recent record. Has the most diverse songs ranging from Deja Vu metal brother - Da Da Dance, Hindu Shanti Shanti Shanti, Hispanic Night Night Burn, Pirate Metal in a form of Oh! Majinai featuring Joakim Brodén from Sabaton, Thai Pa Pa Ya and Distortion that is Power Metal and features Alissa White-Gluz from Arch Enemy. You may ask - why did I write all of this? The answer - don't know. I'm just really passionate about this band. I obviously listen to many more bands than just them, all Metal. Sorry for wasting your time with my dictum lol.

RebeltugGames Well if that is the case, there are plenty of riffs that fall under those categories without having to be “000’s”. For example, he included Chelsea Grin but he could’ve chosen riffs like Sonnet of Wretched or Recreant instead of the “000’s” he ended up choosing. But yes, I am a fan of some good chugging riffs, like Chelsea Smile by BMTH or A Candlelit Dinner With Inamorta by AA just to name a few examples. However those are before 2010.

These are great! I'm surprised I got to see Babymetal's Karate in the list as when I first listened to that song I was like "THIS IS THE BEST RIFF I HEARD IN A WHILE" hahaha great list Nik! I'm a little bit sad that Destrage didn't get to the list, maybe you didn't heard of them so I recommend you a couple songs: To Be Tolerated (it a couple great riffs) Blah Blah (just listen to it) Before, After and All Around (can't help it but headbang 100%) Hey, Stranger! (the outro is a banger) Don't Stare at the Edge (that intro tho) Destroy Create Transform Sublimate (that intro tho x2) The Choosen One (that intro tho x3) Waterpark Bachelorette (the outro riff get's me all the time) Back Door Epoque (they have amazing intros and outros) Is one of my favourite metal bands ever and it'd be great if you cover any of their songs, I'm pretty sure you'll have tons of fun playing!
