Nice video! I've learned of a few games I want to check out. But saying that, these games are normally classified as Rougelike-Likes. As long as you're listing these - you missed "Hades". True Rougelikes would be stuff like: Dungeon Crawl: Stone Soup, Tales of Maj'Ejal, Rift Wizard and Path of Achra. And I'm sure im missing a few. Anyway - Great vid, keep it up!

Thanks! Yea, I know. So called roguelites. I think they are partly more fun to play nowadays. You know, you can feel progress and new stuff and mechanics unlocking. Hades is much more story-based, I guess. So I included it in another video of mine about indie games. To be honest, I haven't even heard about ones, which you gave as example. I'll check them. Thanks for recommendations. Sorry if you looked specifically for them. Have a good day!!! ;)

@@_Akior_ The ones I mentioned are niche games in a lot of ways, and most people will find them too rough around the edges, or the graphics too basic, the gameplay too needlessly complex. No way that just one person mentioned Noita down in the comments Why you MUST try it? Well, it's the best game of magic ever done, every aspect of the game to be such a good game it's amazingly thought and so well implemented. The way the lore it's implemented, the way the game teaches you HOW to play, the difficulty system and, the most important and funniest part of the game, the spell crafting. It's definately the absolute best game based on magic ever done and probably even with new game releases, will keep up being one of the best.
@_Akior_8 ай бұрын
There are 2 people, who mentioned it. And now you are third. Seems like it's really good game, if so many people talk about it. But I haven't tried it yet and haven't heard much about it's gameplay and lore. Maybe I'll try it later one day. Do you think it's better than magicka? It literally has magic in title 🤪🤔😮

Here’s 5 more notable ones I’ve found: Brutal orchestra. A rougelike that plays unlike anything I’ve EVER seen. It’s such unique gameplay that I couldn’t possibly compare it to anything else. But the story is super cool. You’re dead and have ended up in purgatory. You fight your way, not necessarily to escape, but to get answers as to what happened and why you are here. The game is a bit dark and a bit graphic, kinda like darkest dungeon. Vellum. An early build fps where you play as a mage to inscribe enemies with various colors of ink. Each ink has its own gameplay. On top of choosing ink colors, you can also choose various abilities where some fit better with a color than others. Endless dungeon. I’m just going to put this game out there because it’s probably going to be shut down soon due to lack of players, which is a shame. It’s a top down hero shooter rougelike, where you can choose a unique character with abilities, find a ton of different weapons with different elements attached, and on top of all that it’s also partially a tower defense game. All set in an awesome universe on a locked down and mysterious space station. Gatekeeper. A game very risk of rain like, except it’s top down. There’s unique characters and a shit ton of items that stack in cool ways, like risk of rain. The setting is alien and dystopian like risk of rain. There’s items locked behind achievements, which means you really get a sense of evolution as you play. And all characters can also level up their abilities in game which can change them slightly, depending on what build you’re going (I.e, you’re a character with a shotgun, the first upgrade to your shotgun is firing 2 extra bullets, the next is that each shot bleeds, the third is that all shots pierce enemies). Soulstone survivors: This is one of the ONLY vampire survivor esc rougelikes out there, that I like. It’s what you expect from a vampire survivor rougelike, but I personally really love the abilities and world. However the game heavily leans into synergizing abilities and upgrades, rather than individual stand alone upgrades. Plus all characters are just super fricking cool, and there’s a TON to unlock in the game.
