It's baffling How many times you said "known for a healthy lifestyle" If their lifestyle was sold to the public as HEALTHY, then shame on the whole industry. By the way big thanks to you for the efforts to raise awareness.

@@peterphilip1475 it's the drugs combined with dehydration (diuretics) plus heavy training and hours of cardio. Everything goes against the heart. I had the vax and so did everybody I know except for 2 people. Not a single problem, and that includes those who didn't take it TBF. Myself, and a lot of people I know go to the gym and do exercise. But none of them, as far as I know, take steroids or any kind of PED except maybe for creatine. A lot of wishful thinking going on here and a lot of avoidance of the main problem in the "health & fitness" business. Most people in it are neither one nor the other.... but hey, can't be the sh*t they're poisoning their bodies with on a daily basis, right?

Lol exactly. As if the covid vaccine is comparable to years of steroid use? Right, because we totally wouldn’t notice the entire world population starting to die at the rate of bodybuilders, who clearly drop dead at a high rate. But then they go back to blaming the vaccine and not their insane drug abuse.

Your final point, that the fans enable these premature deaths by consuming mass monsters, is true. For me, the 1980s was the last good era of bodybuilding. I could not relate to the 90s mass monsters, who seem to get bigger and most distorted (ie bubble guts) every year. Interesting that a lot of those 80s guys died of old age but the young guys today are dead by 40. Deadlier drugs, I am guessing.

In most of the people shown, you have extreme steroid use/abuse, all for the possibility of winning a trophy and maybe--MAYBE--making some money. Passion for the sport-art is one thing, and that's to be respected, but putting your life on the line for the possibility of winning is just plain stupid. Very few make a living from bodybuilding, and most of them find that it's hard to get off the stuff once their competitive days are over. All those people dying in their thirties to their early fifties...way too young to go.
