50 Cent & Joe Budden have a long history of turmoil which dates back to as far as 2002. When 50 Cent exploded onto the scene, he found himself (along with his team in G-Unit) Beefing with Joe Budden. Plenty of diss tracks were exchanged by Joe Budden, Lloyd banks & The Game. 50 Cent opted out of dissing Joe through music but still found alliterative methods of trolling (Classic 50). This is the entire beef!

Excellent video and very detailed. I spent a lot of money buying mixtapes and keeping up with the back and forths. I was first introduced to Game on a Kay Slay (R.I.P) mixtape. I became a 50 fan from his mixtape run. The Re Up Gang We Got It For Cheap series from Vol 1 to Vol 3 still holds a special place for me. Beanie Siegel Public Enemy Number 1 mixtape was special. DJ Envy had an impressive mixtape run as well. It’s so many memories from the mixtape era that are truly phenomenal and thank you for documenting that time.

I was in the Navy and stationed In Norfolk, VA and so many mixtapes were available at Military Circle Mall at that time. So many people were popping. From Dipset to PSC to Street Family to G Unit to Desert Storm with the A Team (R.I.P) Stack Bundles. That was a remarkable time in HipHop dudes was really coming with it. So I'm listening to your video while playing GT7, and what you said at the end about the mixtape era REALLY clicked with me. I was in high school during the 50 cent blow up. I'll never forget bumping Wanksta in my '89 Mazda 323 lol. The most fun was finding the new hottest mixtapes or diss tracks, downloading it on Limewire (praying I wouldn't get a virus or a copy of Crank Dat by Soulja boy lol), transferring it onto my 32MB MP3 player, and then showing it off the next day at school. I guess that was my (our) era's version of diving through crates like the people did in the 80's/90's.

This was a great breakdown good job. I followed everything in that era as far as their beef mixtape’s ect. Joe definitely won 🏆 overall that’s clear. I like his diss big shot alot: it would have been alot better if 50 participanted in the disses against Joe instead of sending Gunit. It’s ashame Joe isn’t even known as an incredible rapper an artist, his 1st album was a masterpiece to me. Then you have arguably the best mixtape 🔥 📼 series in mood music. Padded room is a great album nobody talks about, love lost series of albums are breathtaking, escape route album is ok. Sadly joe is mostly known for a damn podcast now I wish the love he gets from the podcast was instead for his music but only his hardcore fans truly know his music… like blood on the wall a diss to prodigy… black cloud, inseparable, 1000 faces, immortal, castle, 10mins, calm down, pusha man, whatever it takes, when thugs cry, runaway, stand up nicca, you ain’t gotta go home, 16 thou, walk wit me’ he talks about threats he’s getting from jersey city since he’s signed a deal wit def jam an has recognition. Tracks like pray for me, exxes, don’t make me, the future feat game. His album halfway house is unbelievable. His track Only human” will make you cry 😭tracks like unnecessary pain, man down. Love I’m good, slaughtermouse is a track that’s beautiful an dedicated to Eminem when he was signed to shady records. Playing are part , poker in the sky, under the sun, go to hell, sidetracked, Idol’s ….. I can go on an on about the impact his music has make an I have tons of tracks that people should look up an listen to heartfelt tracks of loneliness an feeling misunderstood. Dealin wit woman an family problems, problems wit his only city not havin his back or supporting him. Joe is honestly a top ten rapper overall of course nobody believes that but it’s fine it’s real to me that’s all that matters.
