@aligaines8476 Big 🧢 🧢. It wasn't agreed ahead of time that Graduation would outsell Curtis. What happened was the fans turned their backs on the bully and supported the underdog.

Ye crushed 50 in sales on this release date. Graduation is a classic.
@ebonyeverything27512 ай бұрын
If you were actually around back when this happened u know that this was a STRATEGIC competition for SALES that 50 planned, not beef. Kanye told the story about how 50 told him that they needed to do this to hype of both projects and to help continue to grow Ye's career. He was actually schooling Ye.

CAP if you really know 50 pissed a lot of powerful industry wigs off with his antics. The label sold 50 this idea it was NOT original. That’s VERY VERY important because the machine wanted the outcome to look like a slaughter and that’s exactly what it was. Ye was literally everywhere on every billboard, poster and magazine while 50 was pretty much promoting himself that should tell you EVERYTHING!!!!!!!
@ebonyeverything2751Ай бұрын
@@jamesonedwardsii4943 nothing u said is actually different than what I said. It was planned and not organic. DUH tink tink, they were both promoting themselves, the reach had a new project coming out. I guess u just were desperate to be included lol.

This is CAP. Plus, 50 said if Kanye West out sold him, he would retire from rap. Kanye West won! His album sold more units, not just the first day, but still to this day. Do your research before you be on here lying for likes 😂
@ebonyeverything2751Ай бұрын
@@KRAFTY71 no part of what u said has ANYTHING to do with what I said smh. It was a MARKETING ploy, they were NEVER actually beefing. It was an about sales. So what, 50 lied about quitting rap again it was a GIMMICK and itsDECADES old. They've both told this story in interviews. U have issues hun🤣🤣🤣🤡 I guess u actually care about KZbin likes on a comment. What part of what i said was a lie???👀
