Mohair yarn will give you that fluffier texture if you want it in the mesh and lattice style tops. It’s super soft too.

You could try making a granny square like a web and just make two panels first, then the 2 smaller longer panels for the sleeves, and just stitch them together. Like, as a prototype.

@@babispr0ut I tried just doing a mesh stitch once, and it was tedious but it ended up looking nice. On some I made them bigger and some smaller, and it looked kind of distressed. Gothic-ish and a smaller yarn could make it layerable

9:33 i made a jumper inspired by this one spacificlly, a while ago!! I love it so much. It only took me about a week to make, and it's a very easy pattern to follow. I will say to anyone who wants to try it, it does use a LOT of yarn so have extra on hand :]

Just a friendly note that the first eye pattern you mentioned is not credited correctly in your captions. :) When you click on the link you'll see that pattern was "inspired" by the original creator, Carolinemoorec (Y2K knots now I think, the person in your thumbnail actually lol). I love being inspired by other creators, but I think we should also try to make sure original designers get credit for their work. :) I follow the original creator and she was not very happy with that other person creating a pattern saying they will sue you if you copy their pattern LOL

(sorry for the long reply i’m just tired of people thinking i stole her stuff when i had permission to recreate it, and i have proof on my page) Hi i’m the girl that made the pattern. I actually asked caroline about making a pattern and i posted screenshots about her approving everything. She even liked some of my post and texted me a couple times after. She never confronted me about being upset about a pattern till recently and then she stated she was only upset because people were tagging me instead of her which wasn’t my intent. In every caption i credit her fully and ask others to credit her. i even have told people that is not my sweater and i won’t recreate it when they ask me for customs sweaters. Also i never threatened to “sue” but i did use a scare tactic so people won’t copy my work. 😭 after months of her knowing i had a pattern she got upset because people were crediting me sometimes and not both of us (not my fault) and then she got a lot of her followers to harass and send me threats while also trashing all the other things i’ve created on my own. mind you i’m a teenager and she’s a grown woman having people harass me. Please stop believing one sided stories without hearing the other side, notice how she has no proof of confronting me for months after i asked her about making my own pattern. And let’s not gatekeep, it is fine if someone wants to make a sweater especially if they aren’t disturbing it themselves. Thank you!
