I just started this weekend (I'm old, like stupid old. 39 years old) I was thinking about it and thinking about it and finally did some research and found what I needed with the help of some very nice people at the store that just saw my... grunge era dude looking ass confused as I scanned the aisles for the right yarn (started with a 8mm). The bandanas are cute, but they will never stay in your hair. I tried those years ago to use scrap yarn. You have to crochet over some of the plastic old fashioned hair comb deals that hold your hair back. So just a tip to keep them from sliding off your head.
