Guys chill..... Mine practical was today and it went pretty well so lemme guide you because i know its needed.... Prepration tips: (Phy.& Chem.) Dedicate 3to 4 hours just for understanding the practical each and every experiment,You need not learn procedure...just get knowledge about what is the experiment related to that's it..... Then dedicate your max time in searching and learning important viva questions from google and youtube: Not more than top 50 expected questions Do one thing have knowledge about: Chem: Titration,KMno4,Redox Titration (Like in following experiment which is oxidised and which is reduced),functional group identification,Bohr's salt,Cation -Anion also called as acid base radical, That's enough.... If you have time just go through formulas of solution chapter like molality,molarity,Vapour pressure, Colligative chemical reaction... Nothing more...(90%chances) Physics: Galvanometer,Ammeter,Rheostat, Voltmeter,Simple formulas like mirror formula,lens formula, Refractive index,Snells law,Kirchoffs 1st and 2nd law, Coulomb's law, Ohm's law, Definition of potential difference,Emf etc..... If you have done this all then relax you have done what you can do,And that matters.....Hope this helps someone like me who was worried a lot but finally did well And yes don't forget to pray from god (whichever religion) .. My today's practical questions 1. How many valancies Mn atom shows and why ? 2. Why transition metals are hard ? 3. Why transition metals show colour ? 4. Which metal in 1st transition series does not show colour? Name its one compound . 5. What is color of CuSO4 in hydrate form and in anhydrous form. 6. Order of stability of carbocation. 7. What is Lucas reagent ? Order of formation of turbidity with Lucas Test. 8. Draw structures of ethanamine and N-methylethanamine. Give test to differentiate among both. I was able to answer all questions. Hoping for best !!

U should have googled. Still I am writing hints or concepts here 1. From 2 to 7. Because of half filled d orbital of Mn 2. Due to strong metallic bonding. 3. D-d transition 4. Zn. ZnCl2 is the compound which is white in colour 5. Hydrate: Blue Anhydrous: White 6. 3°>2°>1° 7. ZnCl2 + HCl is Lucas reagent. Turbidity order : 3>2>1 (alcohols) 8. They are 1° and 2° amines respectively. They can be differentiated by Carbylamine test in which only 1° amine will give ethylisocyanide (C2H5NC) which is foul smelling substance. Bless You
