Please remember he is mentally ill. Saying stuff like “definitely not the type you’d want to encounter” and “hand him some razor blades already” is really damaging because it creates a bad image around mental health as a whole. I understand this man killed his family and it’s okay to be angry at the situation. But be angry at the mental health system that failed him not the individual. If he had been in treatment earlier, or at the very least hospitalized before he took action, three lives could have been saved. Just please be careful with the way you talk about mental health because saying stuff like that makes it harder for people who struggle with mental illnesses to seek help

That is actually the reason for my personal aversion against the death sentence - far too many people have been executed who were later proven to be innocent ! Even one is too many. When you take away another persons life, and ALL of their rights and ability to live, you do not deserve a single right and definitely should be subject to cruel and unusual punishment like solitary, and death..

One little known fact is that Micheal “Harry O” Harris was the originator of Death Row. Suge Knight took over once Harry O was arrested.

Solitary Confinement is honesty a very harsh punishment, to leave someone in a cell alone with nothing for months to years is actually insane. The punishment can be very very terrible, prisons need to stop handing it out like cake.

People watching executions for fun is something people have been doing for thousands of years. The more things change, the more things stay the same.
