I miss the old days… mope is my favorite game. But now the new devs decided to turn it into a toxic game of team to win, OP rare animals, bugs they never fix (including mobile bugs that make it unplayable), skins… and now human-made objects??? The main and original aspect of level up, hunt and survive is completely gone. Oh and did you know you must be logged in to use 1v1 arena or even chat? (Oh and did you also know that some mobile users can’t even log in because of a bug?)

In brutalio, getting the red powerup involves a ridiculous amount of skill actually. You can consistently get the red if you know how to play. 1- get to the center. Sometimes people are guarding the entrance, but they can die at anytime so just chill near the entrance. 2- once you’re in, avoid the red corners. Stay near the walls. Wait for the center circle to turn into a black hole. 3- you have to understand how to rotate around the black hole without dying. The black hole doesn’t actually suck you in that quickly, so if you rotate clockwise while pointing your mouse away from the hole at all times, you can rotate around it infinitely. HOWEVER: you might notice other skilled players also doing this rotation, so be patient. Chill at the walls until the black hole has been going for 15 seconds, THEN go in and rotate like i said. 4- if you did this properly, you’ll have the red powerup, but the most skill requiring part is to exit the center. If you didnt guard the entrance properly this whole time, someone else might be… and you will be unable to escape. Or you’ll die on the way out, giving the powerup to a lucky rando. You really have to guard the entrance from the get go until you get the powerup. Once you make it out, you gotta rush to the edge of the map where it’s safer. Then aim for the biggest spike on the map. 5- When you have a big spike, you need extremely solid map awareness to stay alive. Pay attention to circles that are consistently beelining towards you on the map, and go the other way at all costs. The red powerup doesnt even last that long so you can weather the storm if you play properly. If you do all of this, you can consistently get to 20-30k and if there aren’t that many players in the lobby easily even 40k

I am talking specifically if you have around 30K without the powerup equipped, someone will drain your score no matter how good you are. Good advice for anyone playing the game, though.

I'm surprised Starblast got into the list despite the devs being incredibly inactive (because they pretty much have moved on for other projects and stuff) and each organized/event rounds being the exact same outcome of everyone using the exact same ship meta making the community boring at most times. All I care about Starblast now is shipbuilding, either as a hobby or to contribute to a mod, but I have spent way too much time playing the game, it's like a prison if you started playing it too much. Mid 2023 update: Now there are cheaters with public hack clients roaming around.
