8:24 my jaw is ON THE FLOOR. Of course, every parent has flaws or ways they could’ve handled situations in the past differently….. but mannnn my dad is the MOST generous person on earth 🥺 if he’s wealthy, everyone is taken care of! Even when he hasn’t been 😓 always taking care of everyone around him. It’s so funny because obviously everyone wants to hit the lotto, right? But I only wanna so I can give most to my pops 😭😭😭 hahahah. I just wanna way to pay him back for everything he’s done for me in my 30 years of life. Ahhh I just love that man so much.. makes me tear up ♥️♥️♥️

So the fact that dude’s parents were already millionaires?!?!?!! Absolutely shocking.. and horrible.. and I’m glad he’s written a book and told his story to warn others out there who may have wealth fall into their lap!! Just goes to show it’s not all sunshine and rainbows and he said it perfectly.. that it just brings out dormant stuff in people. So crazy! I’d love to hear the breakdown of the psychology of it all. But yeah.. wish me luck y’all!!! Cause I just wanna give it to my dad, the most deserving person on earth 😭 lmaooo

I recently lost my stepmom and knew that I was included in her Will, there are 5 of us and found out we each will get approximately one million dollars or slightly more when the Estate is settled in as little as a few months to six or seven months, I was surprised at this amount, as I thought it would be around half of that! I will collect a small interest rate from it and can live very nicely on that for the rest of my life. Being nearly 70, I plan on it lasting the rest of my life!

@c.akhila9150 - I am glad that you have recently won $1M, however, just bear in mind that $1M is no longer what it once was, especially in the USA and Europe. When I was growing up back in the '90s $1M would probably equal to about $10M in today's money (in my mind). Be wise, invest it wisely, otherwise, it will just dry up in a split second.

That concept of indulgent self-destruction has been put forward by the media frequently. It doesn't happen as often as they would have you believe. Former hedge manager, Patrick Boyle produced a YT video on the fates of lottery winners a couple of months ago. Extremely informative.

I'm an INFJ and a Leo. That being said I can honestly tell you that I thought having a narcissistic mother and dealing with brutal bullies, (they find you trust me), was 100 times harder to deal with when you're just financially middle class paycheck to paycheck , but after listening to what Randy has gone through, its really matured my thinking about wishing for money. I'm not a materialistic person, but I think everybody wants "comfort" and we all want to be secure. I loved this interview and very appreciative that he took the time to do it. He clearly didn't have to. ❤

I'm actually reading Randy's book, 13 Billion to 1, and it's quite fascinating. I'm about 2/3rds way through and when reading the part about meeting this character named Jeremy, my alarms went off immediately. What I would have done is tell him to go on the show Shark Tank and ask them for money. The entire family is really just a bunch slimy characters. I hope Randy all the best and watch out for those bloodsuckers cos they are real and they are out there.

Timothy, I've followed your channel since I found it, and even though your videos have always been great, you've really evolved in your interviewing style - you give enough space for people to tell their stories, yet ask the 'right' questions that bring about these fascinating replies. It's an interview style I think is really enjoyable as a listener/watcher. You draw upon your own experience without turning it into the 'me' show and it's a perfect balance. Thanks for yet another brilliant video and it's great to see your channel continue to grow. With very best wishes from England, UK.

Thank you for the interview. I learn so much from listening to the people you interview. I live in Aussie land and here a lottery winner is able to remain anonymous to the public, which after viewing countless of your interviews and people describing how they have to deal with the media and people coming out of the woodwork, is an absolute blessing for us Aussies. All lotteries winners you have interviewed have gained the wisdom of the ages, from their experiences. Randy's thoughts and wisdom really resonated with me. I also enjoyed the interview with the young lady who was 14 when her family won the lottery and her take on the world and how her parents encouraged her to go out and get a job. To me, and this may sound weird, listening to your podcast interviews is an important part of my life preparation to when I when the lottery. And this is important to me, as I like to be fully informed about stuff and whilst each lottery winner you have interviewed has a different take so to speak on life and what winning the lottery means to them and how it has or not benefited their lifestyles of choice; I find there are some very common threads and words of wisdom that each have put forward in their own words. Thank you. Please keep these interview podcasts coming.

@@TimothySchultzCan you please have him back on to talk more about his theory of global politics? I find his humble attitude to life and the people around him, how he deals with the gifts he has uncovered within himself, really interesting, having a family like his around me in my younger days, but not so my own children as I've brought them up differently, I am interested in how he has put that into perspective. He's the kinda guy you could sit looking out to sea, with a cool beer in your hand and listen to him for hours and hours, lose track of the time yet never feel tired, but enriched by his wisdom when you part ways. He's an old soul.

I'm learning a lot from Randy Rush. 😊🎉 Good points to remember and what to be aware of when you have that massive wealth and how it will be well spent/invest. And also, how people can change with money. So many things to learn.

Funny Randy says he no longer listens to music but listens to his surroundings, and is very keen on feeding birds. Snap! For the last 10+ years I have stopped listening to music in my home, I spend my spare time out in my garden where I have many bird feeders and nesting boxes. I'm wondering if this is the prelude to my hitting the magic 6 numbers and fulfilling my desire for the new home I want where I can feed even more birds and look out to sea for peace and quiet. Thanks for that insight Randy, I may be moving to another part of Scotland very soon. 💸

Great podcast guys. Timothy, you are a great podcast host. You ask engaging questions, and you don't interrupt your guests. Randy has given me a lot to think about, and to implement. Not only how to handle oneself, but other situations as well. Randy has such a calming presence.

Absolutely loved it!!! 🙏 10 out of 10 stars! 🤩 I found this interview with Randy Rush to be one of the most inspiring, interesting, and authentic I have ever come across regarding lottery winners & their stories. Thank you Randy for speaking from the heart. I completely resonated, & I love listening to you laugh! There were so many great nuggets of wisdom that I’m going to watch again and get my notebook out 🤣 Thank you, @TimothySchultz , for a kick a** interview, the well thought out questions, & allowing him to speak when you could see he was really in the zone and reaching people.

I work with a friend from Ghana raising money for a school near his home. $5k buys supplies for over 100 students for the year, a van to get the kids around, maintenance and improvements to the infrastructure. It's incredible what seems relatively small money to you or me makes all the difference to others. Kudos to those who make a difference

Great Interview! I had the pleasure of meeting Neil Peart when he was a patient of mine at a dental office I worked in at a Beverly Hills office in 2004, and since I’m a drummer too, it was an honor meeting and talking to him every time he came in!

I really enjoyed listening to Randy Rush (cool last name) interview. I'm from Alberta, Canada too. It's sad and crazy all the things he went through with family and friends. His own mother to be like that! Also the friends he lost too. You really find out who is your friend at a time like this too. Yes how he says it was a gift from God too. Very humbling guy. I like his advice too when he says, "Get out of dodge" get a new cell phone, and pick a trusted friend or family to watch your house. The number of chances he gave people till he realized too you are just enabling friends. You're not helping them. Also to surround yourself with like minded people. Stay away from the drama!

I’ve watched your videos, and I really do like them, you give those who’ve one lottery jackpots an opportunity to tell their story, and unlike other interviewers, I’ve seen from time to time you actually let those you interview, speak without interruption, or leading them down the path you want them to go, even when sometimes they stray off the path but it’s OK. It makes the interview just that more enjoyable to watch. I am my wife will win the Powerball, and it would be my pleasure to grant you an interview, I look forward to it. See you soon.

Inspiring and wise words. People tend to think the only way to come into money suddenly is the lottery or inheritance, ignoring sale of business/artwork, writing advances, redundancies, class action lawsuits, divorce...I'm sure that there are a few more. The advice given applies to all of these situations too, albeit to a lesser degree. Thanks Randy!
