Thats soo, funny i was just mentioning that on a forum...lol...and yes Traxxas absolutely will make a 12s Xmaxx.Mark my words...I mentioned this regarding a post from someone wishing they did like i did ,and waited after the 6s Xmaxx came out, to purchase one because i knew they would upgrade it.Although 8s makes more sense then 6s , my savage flux runs on 6s sooo?? Having a truck this big, should have came with 8s from the start.

Real interested on how the ring and pinion hold up. My 8s in the park chews pinions before I get though the first set of 4s. Hoping the fewer teeth on the ring and pinion help give better contact and wont chew 2 or three a week. Good vid thumbs up for the BI quote

My E-Revo out runs the X-Maxx even with it's 8s power up, and I don't quite understand why. I'm not all that savvy in this stuff, so if someone could explain.

backlashD your emaxx isn't as big and doesn't use the same system :)

people are wrong it diffs out more with the torque biasing diff it alows the front to eat some power rather than all the rear

caged lion yeah that's not true. The truck has more power. That means more weight shifts back under acceleration. The diff puts power to the least resistance, which is the front. The diff has to be more "locked" under load or the front wheels will diff out.

like you said earlier in the video that could break a leg or put it this way I'll ran it at full speed jumped it and it veered off and hit my knee. As much as it was to laugh about it was very painful. about a hundred and twenty cc's of liquid to drain out of my knee and somewhere around 4 to $5,000 in medical bills.

Bill Gatt I love this truck but I feel like you could get the same amount of fun out of a smaller one that's a lot cheaper not saying that's a bad truck but you have to look at your options like the new erevo it's cheaper faster and has the self writing thing as well

I'll never buy something that requires 8s to do 50 mph. I don't care about its size. Many other brands have 1:8 monster trucks that do 60+ on 6s and are half the price.

Ofc I am not buying it. For the same amount of money I bought an Xray...a proper racing hobby grade vehicle. I tune it and race it at my local track. 0 problems so far. What can you do with an Xmaxx? noting except buzz around slowly in a park, waiting for something to break by itself even when the truck is incapable to do backflips...

Kasa Pa it’s not a race buggy. It’s a basher. So comparing it to a race buggy is dumb. You can race the truck just like a buggy. Also since the video clearly shows backflips (and Front) I’m not sure what the heck you are talking about.

You are somewhat contradicting yourself in the first paragraph but nvm. I am not comparing them because I already know which is better. The term "bashing" is dumb. Traxxas invented it a while back when their products were still cheap and shity but you wound't mind breaking them because of the low price. Several years after the only thing that changed was the price. Anyways, race vehicles can "bash" as well... The difference is that they are faster, they won't break after 1 jump, more controllable, you can actually race them in an official race and HAVE LOWER OR SIMILAR PRICE as Traxxas products. If you call "backflips" those uncomplete, uncontrolled, random crashes at 2:10 and 4:03 and 4:20 you should probably reconsider the nature of your channel.

It’s not contradicting. Racing monster trucks was huge, and sort of still is. You asked what you can do with the truck. You can race, bash run up and down the street and more. Ours broke once while testing we hit a giant rock square on the arms. But since you never drove one I guess you are right. It doesn’t back flip or move. Lol.
