My stock body only lasted like a month an a half. I’ve had this proline body for 6 months and only thing I’ve noticed is the back corners of the bed are worn through but still strong. Just ground down a little from grinding on the road.

Sounds like a bent driveshaft. There is a cheep easy fix out there for it. Just cut the shaft in half, ad one of the little splined gear things and a 4$ 3D printed bracket. Works awesome and only costs 15$
@MatthewSimm3 жыл бұрын
Oh I didn't think it could be that, thanks dude!!
@Deej_RC3 жыл бұрын
Did you replace the motor?
@SteelCityRC2 жыл бұрын
Awesome showing of the brute body. Many different locations and abuse. Shame the 1650kv motor shaft broke off. That motor seems to be pretty rowdy. I use the HW 1100kv with mod 1.5 gearing. That 1650kv seems to be a bit more crazy. The standing backflips alone. I don't think mine will do that. Same ESC too max6. Great video!!
@MatthewSimm2 жыл бұрын
Thanks dude, I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Honestly, I think the standing back flips are thanks to the trenchers haha, they are seriously grippy wheels but they are heavy so I'd still go with stock wheels or something lighter haha 😄 I'll also probably get an 1100kv soon! Much thicker shaft lol

Happy new Year Matt! Shame the motor shaft broke. Gotta love an X-Maxx bash. What I love the most about Traxxas, parts aren't that expensive. Hope you get the beast out soon again. The old 6S X-Maxx motor was 1600kv too, if you can find one. I got one to match with my Max-6 ESC. From memory the X-01 has a 1600kv.. hmmmmm wonder if that would fit? Bodyshell looks pretty good.. been eyeing off the Brute bodyshells for when mine falls apart. You can do my stickers any day mate.. I ALWAYS make a mess of them hahahaha

Hey Steve! Happy new year mate! 🎉 The motor was a hobbywing 1650kv, but I had another one in my Mojave haha, I'm considering just going with the 1100kv 8mm shaft, I'm not sure yet haha. So far so good with the body but time will tell!
