Mayor Bass is the Emergency Services Director so she must have known about L.A.'s fire risk when severe winds were forecast. What preventative measures did she take? Did she meet with emergency services and LADWP to discuss readiness? Did she and the Fire Chief discuss positioning firefighters and hose lines at the New Years fireworks fire site which is where the Palisades Fire started? Probably no on all counts as she was in Ghana.
