They’re adding a heavy sniper that does 3x its player body damage on cars. If the body damage is above 100 then the cars will be massively countered. (Well if you know how to use a sniper) And the War bus has an EMP effect.

The worst part is in solos, people will team in vehicles and one of them will be using the turret whilst still driving, which a normal player can't do. Also, AIs that can be hired can also control turrets.

Yup I've accidentally teamed up a few times and there's nothing you can do. You leave the car, you're screwed. You get in the wrong car (the smaller ones), they can shoot you and pickaxe you. I've had someone hop in my car when they weren't even next to me and killed me. There's no winning with the damn cars around.

Fists require very little skill so you've mastered them after your first couple times using them. When you've mastered the season in 5 games... and then building and shooting is pointless... where's the fun? There's nowhere to go. Mastering something is only fun for a couple of games. Yiu can never master building.

It must be frustrating for people who play competitively, but I'm always the type to play a match win or lose just to have fun. Me and my buddy hopped on last night for our first duos since the new season, won our first match while goofing off for the first five circles with his settings and the new weapons. Then we actually "tried" for the next matches, and only placed as high as second! I dunno, I feel like if more kids who play end up getting their first victory because of some of the items, more power to them, most of us have enough already to be proud of.

Yeah me too, although I like everything about this season except the cars being too op, the nitro fists being too easy to escape with so everyone runs (for good reason tho), and the bow is mostly fine but it shreds players. The map is awesome, but unless you have a car, you can’t really experience it fully.

In squads with some friends, with one member in our group left standing he just hopped in the car and kept peeking out to shoot at the car he had gotten in for a second to dodge the turret they turned back to shoot at him each time. It was hilarious to watch him just fuck with them. We had barely gotten through fights and rebooted and such like, 3-4 times that match in general. We didn't manage to win, but we were absolute pests and it was ridiculously fun.

Do what you did when people started complaining about snipers- nerf drop rates, make it harder to use. In relevancy with this season, you could make the time low so players can’t use this at their will and make it to where you can only have one nitro juice per slot

remove car attachments and mythic cars from ranked, make the nitro do minimal structure damage, and make the fists practically useless for breaking builds. The problem with this season is all of these items, which should be mobility, are just stupid broken as both mobility and weapons. Fists and nitro should be 90% moblilty and maybe 10% offensive. Cars shouldn't be offensive in general, but if they are, they shouldn't be anywhere near as overpowered as they are right now.

It is counterable if you place a stair, although people with the nitro effect can still break the stair if there is a wall next to it, directly running into the side of a stair or the back of it will not do anything.

This is why I stopped playing after chapter 3 somewhere in the middle, and then came back for the OG season, then stopped again. I knew what the game was about to turn into. Because it already had been turning into something unrecognizable for me. I wish I could come back but it’s just too convoluted now.

A couple fixes that could help: 1.- Lower car's HP from 2000 to 1500-1200 2.- Make Nitro dash deal way less damage to builds and players 3.- Give the gloves a bigger delay with less uses and also lower damage. They're also almost impossible to kill since they teleport all of the place but they can easily hit you... So make the animations slower too AND for the love of god reduce the hitbox from these things. I'm getting hit with a melee weapon from like 10 meters away. 4.- Lower damage from spike attachment and fix the bug that deals damage twice to players from one hit (basically one shotting all enemies in your way, even with 250hp in ZB) 5.- Add armored walls 6.- It's almost impossible to run out of fuel, just drastically decrease the fuel tanks please, it'd make camping in cars way less common. 7.- Make car turrets deal more damage to other vehicles. 8.- Enjoy the season

As a pub player playing zero build. It sucks. Cars are op and for some reason you can still get hired help in solo. So you will just run into the broken cars with essentially an auto turret.

A good counter would be using a stronger material, like metal. It makes sense running through wold easily, but they’d get a concussion trying to get through metal or brick. Punching a hole in brick is still somewhat reasonable, especially with nitro, but metal should need multiple ramming.

Honestly my main problem with this season is how team focused it is. Because you can only use turrets in the passenger seat, if you're playing solos, you're having to constantly switch between seats during fights, and it's just not enjoyable.

A few things that would balance the comp side of things is bring back the EMP grenade and make sure the new harpoon gun is in comp and is in soon so people can counter the cars (Edit) They should also unvault the Anvil launcher and hopefully the new flamethrower damages cars a lot

I love this season BECAUSE I can plow through buildings. There's nothing more boring then waiting for someone to turtle up after their shield breaks ESPECIALLY after the changes to shield pots. The only thing I'd ask for is the anvil launcher OR to make it so Metal walls take 2 punches to be blown through for parity

It gets worse in zero build since if you don't have a car late game you have already lost the match. And almost every pub game I play has at least 6 people alive when the 8th zone has closed, which never happened before this season in zb.

To be fair there are a bunch of cars in the map right now, like way too many, it's very easy to recover and equip your own car. Make sure to carry one of those car repairing kits and you're set for surviving and attacking a lot more.

Not necessarily. If you have nitro fists you can knock cars over. Kill the driver when they have to get out to upright the car. Plus you can get high ground and shoot cars to explode. There are many ways to win without a car. It’s sketchy but very doable. High ground is king

Comparing the new cars to the Mechs from season 10: The cars have double the health, they can be healed and refueled infinitely with the repair pads, they have no self destruct, the are everywhere, some regen their hp automatically, both mechs and cars do basically the same amount of damage with their weapons (especially if there are players in the back of the car shooting as well), and the cars are triple the speed. NO WONDER THEY ARE OVERPOWERED. I have been grinding throughout chapter 5 to get better just to see a vehicle even more OP than the mechs to get added. It's purely painful. I can't believe there are players who think this meta is in any way fun or balanced.

People keep suggesting more weapon counters are added to the pool. This has happened before in the past within sub 3 weeks of the season's start, and every time it's been done, the vehicles that are meant to be the highlight of that vehicle-focused season end up gathering dust. Everybody stops using them because the weapon counters spawn too frequently and hard counter anything that has a driver's seat. So then the whole season loses any appeal it had, and it may as well just be the previous season with a new battle pass.

I’ve said this before on one of Layo’s community posts but my idea is: Nitro Splash is fun in Zero Build and Builds for movement but they should make it so that when you break through a players builds, you get stunned for a sec. I really like the map, and the desert biome in general. The medallions are usually a bit too close to each other so I feel having Oscar and Cerberus in the north side is a good idea. My main issue is with the cars. They are basically the frenzy auto 2.0, where you don’t really need to think too hard and you can just shoot and win. The most fun I had in the new season was using the cars as more of a movement option and fighting regularly more often. It’s weird. I still like the season so far, but nerfing the cars a little bit could help. For example: All the cars could have a bit less health. SUV’s could have the most health, but lowest dps, The mythic cars from the bosses could have the highest dps but the lowest health (like close to regular whiplashes, but a bit more). And Whiplashes could have the medium amount of health and medium amount of dps for guns. Fuel wise, I think al cars (except the mythics) should have a lower fuel amount. More than normal, but not as much as we have now. Also the recharge stations are a good idea, but they heal your car back up to full with no loss (except for time, waiting for it to finish). An easy fix could be that it costs like 50 or 100 gold to fix, just to make it a bit less broken. As for other stuff, the nitro fists are fun to use but are also really quick. Items like the kinetic blade have a bit of a slower start, which makes a bit easier to hit someone escaping without it being impossible. Everything else is okay imo. The nitro splash can be a bit broken in builds, being able to break them easily.
