My first husband and I had over a hundred thousand records in a specially constructed room with sprinklers and had a hefty rider on our homeowners insurance policy for the protection of our collection. I don't miss him, but I'd have liked to separate my collection from his when we split up! I muss my own twenty thousand unit record collection that his had 'absorbed'. Dang it!

I always find it very sad when there's an obvious beloved collection of things at the Goodwill store. Grandmother passed away and the kids don't want them. The other day I found an entire collection of Noah's Arcs. All shapes and sizes. It just makes me sad.
