I sold so many of those during the years, I find it odd that games I found all the time and though wouldn't be valuable whatsoever got so expensive for no good reason. Still can't believe Lollipop Chainsaw is as expensive as it is considering it's not even that uncommon.

I worked at Gamestop during the Wii/360/PS3 generation through to PS4/Xb1/switch. So many of these games were in our bargain bins (the under $5 bin and the 2 for $10 or 2 for $20 bin). I even used to own a few of these, but not anymore. Another game that is absurdly priced game is the Godzilla, I didn’t grab it because of bad reviews and I regret it now. Yeah, I remeber these prices for a bunch of these games. I actually bought puppeteer for 5 bucks less than 2 years ago. It's crazy how these prices escalated recently. Good to know about Godzilla. Never played it, will check it out. Thank you for the suggestion last video. There was actally a problem in the master level of the original version of the song in the software I used to create it. I agree its better know :D

I have Puppeteer in physical copy. I actually remember getting it brand new at a flea market for $5 bucks back in 2014 or 2015. I just got Yakuza : Dead Souls back a month or 2 ago ! So nice to see it on this list. I have the Trails of Cold Steel on PS Vita physical copy. I can kick myself...i could have owned Splatterhouse years ago. I saw it in Gamestop and never picked it up.

I started buying PS3 last year when it was cheap and finished right before the store announcment of closing, which caused everyone to rediscover PS3 and the prices to go crazy, i got most of these games on this list for under 30. I was able to get the Sly Collection for $10 a couple of months ago. Some other PS3 games that seem to be going up in price are Spider-Man Web of Shadows, Spider-Man Edge of Time, Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, Saw, and Saw 2.

I recently picked up Heavenly Sword (US) for 4 bucks and got Folklore last summer for 15 bucks. NCAA football 14 is another very expensive PS3 game.

44:00 just a small correction. Nier Replicant is not a remake or remaster if the original Nier! The JP original of that Nier was split into 2 seperate versions which had the same story setting but were following different protagonists. Oddly only one of these 2 games made it to the west, and Nier Replicant is now a remake of that SECOND version we never got!

Something worth noting for the digital PSN Jak & Daxter and the Sly collections: You get all games for both PS3 and Vita simultaneously, so it's not PS3 or Vita, it's PS3 and Vita. However, the cross functionality is limited so no, there is no cross save functionality on the Sly pack and I don't think there is any for the J&Dx either. The Vita downloads for Sly were very confusing to me, as you somehow get two different downloads for Sly 1 and the rest of the games come as a large download file which is bad for small memory cards. Same goes for Ratchet & Clank, though not mentioned here. You get it for both PS3 and Vita, with one file containing 1+2 and I believe 3 comes separately. Since I bought three triple packs at once for two consoles, it was very confusing to understand what goes where as it results in 3*2*3 or more download files, and it's not always displayed if the file is for Vita or PS3.

Thanks Henkibojj for this extra info for Sly and Jak collections. I actually have the Sly collection on the Vita, and had to buy Sly 3 because its not on the cartridge and the voucher was already used. That was a bad deal on my part because the digital version goes for 15 for all 3 and any one alone costs 10 bucks... So yeah, I agree that this whole multiple games but not all coming in physically sucks and is very confusing. This video is gonna blow up with time, its one of those ages good as wine videos. Also this took a lot of work so I watched it all. I have almost half of these but some I missed because I thought they weren't gonna go up in price... But I have to say that folklore, all the ps3 spider-mans, nier, drakengard 3, no more heroes are really sought after (just to name a few). I have all of them with manuals and drakengard 3 is still brand new. I hope the ps3 and vita stores get closed because after a year these games will double or triple in price and since I wanna sell my collection it would be lit :)

Great video as usual. Lately I've noticed a lack of correct sale reporting on PriceCharting. It seems out of sync with Completed Listings on eBay, at least how it was in years past so I wonder if that is part of the discrepancy on top of just taking a bit to catch up by nature

My collection is not missing that much of those titles, beside Painkiller, Puppeteer and most of the JRPG i'm not really into. Another one that's getting VERY expensive and very hard to find in 100% CIB condition is Watchmen: The end is Nigh. The pack includes the movie, the game, a printed timeline, poster and manual. And if the plastic sleeve is not present, it's not 100% CIB. I got it in pristine condition for US$7.00 just a couple years ago. Other games going up in price are Way Of The Samurai 3&4, Persona Arena Ultimax, Killer Is Dead Launch Edition, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Under Defeat HD and Rambo.

Drakengard 3 PAL version was never released physically, its only digital in PAL regions.

There is a special edition physical CASE. But inside there is no disk, only a voucher code. So yeah, you are right. The existance of this physical case threw me off when researching, though. Yeah, me too, I rarelly ever trade in any game. Yes, Time & Eternity is a worthwhile title, if anything to see a different take on turn based combat and camera position in an RPG. The criticism in the game are mostly around the setting. I cant deny that it is super weird and awkward. But I still see this as a worthwhile game for the innovative style it has. I can't believe NCAA Football 14 wasn't on this list. I mean, it by no means would top NBA Elite '11 but I've seen copies of the game for PS3 go for upwards of $140 and as high as $300+. Both the X360 and PS3 versions are incredibly expensive and rare to find now a days. I've been looking for a copy under $100 for over two years.

Well you need to consider another alternative for Trails of Cold Steel and that is the recently released Switch Version (not the physical as it is exclusive to Japan and you know how expensive customs can be with Japanese/Asian Imports). Same with the first No More Heroes (The Physical Version for the US was Limited Run's)

NCAA 14 should be on this list. That's what happens though when ncaa athletes demand money for their likeness and EA says "nah we'd rather just cancel the series. Amazing work being done by the modders to keep that series alive though

@@jasonking4146 I look at micro transactions as a personal preference type of thing. I could be wrong but I’ve never used them and it’s never affected my online experience. Maybe the younger generation likes to use them to have a boosted team or whatever they need them for but me just being from a generation before all that bullshit I look at it like as long as there are plenty of people that prefer the traditional game play and experience and they don’t entertain ea with all the micro transactions then the online experience shouldn’t be a big issue. I mean I could be wrong that’s just one way I look at it

@@clayhambrick6861 I felt just as you on microtransactions in the past. Unfortunately EA has put less effort in franchise/dynasty modes because of the popularity of their microtransaction modes. The amount of detail put into Madden 08 compared with Madden 17(last version I've played ) is enough for me to be worried. I'm still hopeful.

True. I have it and its just amazing to have all the games easilly available including the MSX originals which really hold up after all this time. The collection is currently going for around 20 bucks so not super expensive, but trending up. I may bring this one up on a second video if I do one cause the PAL version is super expensive going for over 100 bucks, crazy. Yeah, another viewer also form Europe explained it to me: there is a PAL "physical" version but it's a weird collector's edition that doesn't come with the disc, only a voucher code inside and some other goodies like a soundtrack. Lame, lol. Why make a collector's edition without the actual physical version of the game, that's so bizarre. @@lrc173 Lucky you! I've patrolled the pawn shops in my area to no avail. This one shop I frequented (now closed) never kept tabs on valuable games. If it was a PS3 or 360 game it sold for no higher than $10. I could usually talk them down to $5, or 3 for $10.

Whats the difference or advantages between having physical ps3 games or jailbreaking ps3 really?

Not many, lol. Its a matter of preference I think. Having everything digital will probably lead most people to delete the games they already finished to make more digital space for new ones, which results in not being able to play that game later as quick as you would want because you will have to download it again. There are ways to resolve that of course, you can improve your HD space, internally and externally, to the point of having your entire catalogue downloaded at all times, but most people won't do that, as it will cost them and will also require a little bit of work and research for the internal HD replacement. Also, there is something about having the physical thing that you can touch. You know, as humans we tend to like the tactile thing better than the virtual thing. But I think the bigger one is that its kind of a hassle to jail break, right? It wil require at least a little bit of research, and lots of people are not confortable even with the thought of doing it, also because of the moral aspect.

Hi.. Any idea why the PS3 European region 2 version of Enchanted Arms says Special edition on the back and the USA doesn't!!! Anyone know if there is any difference or added content in the European version?

Hi Ahmad! I did a research here, I think I got it, but not sure are all, cause I only have the xbox 360 version. I think what they mean by Special Edition is the fact that the PS3 version has extra things compared to the Xbox 360. including six axis motion controls and more creatures. Could be wrong though.
