My family had friends who lived in Tuolumne County, California, in the Sierra foothills, and this family’s home had been built around a giant sequoia and the toilet paper hanger was attached to the tree. The people at 3:20 living _in_ a tree caused this 50+ year old memory to suddenly resurface.

When I was a little kid, watching the Patridge Family, I thought Susan Dey was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. She's still an incredibly attractive woman..& today I learned, looking back at her old pictures prompted by this video, that she imprinted on me really heavily. She's been the standard against which I've measured the looks of all women in my life. While none of them were as "all together" as her, 80% of them had the hair, or the soulful blue eyes, or that shape face. Crazy!

Technically the Korean War never ended because no peace treaty was ever signed between the warring nations and North Korea has never officially recognized South Korea's right to exist as a separate nation.

Susan Dey, 1970's is how I wished I looked like when I was about the same age then. I looked absolutely nothing like Susan Dey though. She was quite beautiful and cute. I went to a very large high school in the 1970's and there were maybe just only a few girls that were very cute but not extremely good looking on the level of Susan Dey. We all wanted to have "her looks" or like Peggy Lipton of "Mod Squad."
