Something like this is happening to me... I have come to realise people by nature are selfish and it's not just in a bad way for example someone doesn't want to do small house work so they try to give to others or even me. But i don't hate them as, I myself do the same things to others so how can i hate someone for doing something that is done by me too. Next is, I have started to overcome fear, i mean i feel fear. But not numbness anymore. Rather i get excited. As if you see, u got to do a task, either with with terror or with cool and calm mind. Cause completion of task is inevitable. ( For example when we drink, or smoke weed after that we have to go home cause sleeping on the road is not feasible. so either you travel to your home while feeling the terror of what might happen. Or traveling with a calm mind. And this feeling not just when I'm drunk but all the time) Third is I have stopped regretting. For me I feel like I am starting to learn from everything. I don't dwel on things anymore i understand what mistake I did and how to not do it anymore.

We always have fun together. So , I am excited to see her . I pick her up at the airport tomorrow. Hope all is well with you .

As a person who has been accused multiple times by my friends,, ppl that know me or my own family of being toxic just cause I suffer from awful anger issues. It scares me how there are so many things in the video that *I* have said and it makes me feel heavily guilty even though these people were manipulating me to do all of this through blackmail and more awful,, cruel and inhuman things I don't wish to recall. Because it makes feel so guilty that I fell for exactly what they wanted. If there's one thing I'd like I was taught by this experience is that you mustn't let yourself get overcome by anger,, or else you may as well end up like me

It's destroyed me when I watched this video. 50 things and I was wishing there was at least 1 thing he hadn't said to me. And I am here, thinking that I was the bad guy for leaving. I'm walking out of this, I'm scared but the future me will thank me for doing so.

My partner said a lot these things to me on this list and twisted things I said to mean some of these things. And lied about things so that when I denied them he said I was gaslighting him.

the way that hospital staff talk and treat vulnerable patience in hospitals is down right shocking and horrible thats what i experienced in my hospital stay for 3 days.

And if someone acts like something is a compliment when in reality it’s nowhere close being nice would that be emotionally abusive or manipulation or are both the same thing cuz I was told that before and I thought it was a compliment at the time, the person said something like how I’m annoying by saying how I’m less annoying then someone else, I thought it was compliment cuz that’s how it sounded like cuz normally by other people I was directly called annoying but is was straightforward so I knew it wasn’t and because I already didn’t like them or even see them as friends cuz they were rude to me and a lot of other people so I didn’t think it was rude at first because the difference is that is that it wasn’t strait forward and I thought this person was nice and I think I asked something like did you call me annoying but the person said no, it might be a little off cuz I don’t remember it clearly but what I do know is that it was something about me being annoying but asking like it’s a compliment, was that emotional abuse or manipulation expectally if it wasn’t just one time

I heard many of those from an ex S.O. Though I heard far worse from a pseudo friend who was classy enough to refer to me as a mental case, and hoped I'd kill myself. I got no emotional support. One of my parents just said, quite unemotionally, 'that's really vitriolic'.

Omg, this list spoken out just sounds like former relationships and also inside my own head. Even when you get out of abusive relationships or situations, your brain takes a long time to stop playing those awful things. You become trapped in a vicious cycle of your own abuse. Bully brain is horrible. Don't be your own bully. Also if you know someone who has had an abusive past, remind them that they are important to you. Check on them. Even if they haven't been in that situation for years, even if they say they are "fine" or "don't want to talk about it." That's fine, don't talk about it. Just remind them that they are important in your life and they are loved. Leave that door open if they ever do want to talk about it, but also show them with small comments (don't go over the top or they won't believe you) that they look good, or "wow your smile always makes me feel better," or "omg that laugh is so heartwarming." Little reminders to help counter the recordings that are constantly looping in their brain repeating all the awful things that were drilled into them from their abuse. Help them change those recordings. It's not easy, but it can be done. Don't let the abuser continue to hold that power especially after they are gone. Just my own perspective. :) Off to go get my son settled in the hospital for his next round of chemo. Many hugs and blessings
