Awesome. I did mostly the same and people used to criticize my lifestyle, but I was pursuing my goals.

Tracey, you should definitely concider an insurance. So many people think they have nothing of value. But just think. You have clothes, beds, furniture, your childrens toys, electronics, your mac, camera, coffee machine and so on.. It would take a big lump of money to replace all these items. Not to mention temporary housing until you are settled somewhere else. There is hundreds of things I do no longer buy, I have just moved into my new house, and I would rather save up for whats arrived today - my new wardrobe! I pack my lunches for work, I use and repair my old clothes, I write grocery lists, and negotiate price on everything! :D I must admit - soda - I do drink that every day!

Good video. There are 2 things that I don't buy -- 1. XBox Live, Playstation Plus and other game things that you have to pay a monthly or yearly paywall to use. -- I am perfectly fine spending $50 to $100 per year on a couple or few games that I will play and enjoy them for longer than 1 year making it cheaper for me. -- 2. Pay for streaming "services" like netflix, disny+ and junk like that. -- Most of the things I watch are on youtube or twitch. If I really want to watch a movie or series I can just buy it digitally or on DVD/Blu-Ray and save money instead of paying about $10 to $12 for 1 month just to watch maybe 2 or 3 things. -- 3. Go to the movies -- Sure its nice to be able to watch a show at the movies and have a nice sound system and the big screen.Just the ticket alone though can/almost buy the movie that I can watch multiple times. If the ticket doesn't cover the cost buying popcorn and a drink will make it more expensive.

I got 49/50! With the exception of gym membership which I use and enjoy very much so not planning on cancelling that. Last year I was much less money-conscious so I'm really proud of myself :)

My list is similar to yours. I very occasionally get take away coffee. I usually drink tea at home and save coffee for when I'm out with friends, and will sometimes get that in a to go cup when we get the drink before going for a walk, or something like that. I use wool dryer balls instead of dryer sheets (they both speed up the drying process and help with avoiding static). And I occasionally buy yarn for knitting projects.

Haha, I have to come clean.. we sometimes buy 1 lottery ticket if it goes over 750 mil... but we invest constantly in dividends so buying a couple tickets a year is fun entertainment.. Soda I love.. and frozen pizzas :). Thx for the vid!

I agree with most on this list, except for me personally I need private health insurance, but if I was able to have the choice I’d stick with simple medicare

Have to agree on most of your list. I do pay for H&C insurance and health insurance though and have used both unfortunately 😕 - although very glad to have had them. Also, I like to meet with friends at a cafe and have a coffee ☕️.

It's my favourite wine! Yummmm.
@jd3shaw3 жыл бұрын
Sorry to spoil this for you but it's just average white wine with grape concentrate and water. It's arguably not actual wine and definately has as much if not more sugar than soft drink. Absolutely fine in moderation and I appreciate that it is at least made in Australia from Australian grapes. By maybe graduate to some real white wine that is typically twice as strong therefore you can drink half as much and save even more 🤣

Hey Tracy, I am new to stock investing, can you recommend a platform on which to trade? I was advised go through ANZ, I am in Perth WA. Your advice would be much appreciated. Ps: your videos are very helpful. Thank you

I don't get sucked in with the latest tech. My phone is a mid price and i keep it until it dies. My lap top computer is second hand and works fine. I bought a new car mid last year. I took a 7 year loan and expect to pay it out by the end of 2021. I also have a library membership and have access to magazines, movies. I got rid of netflix not long ago. I am trying to stop buying lotto.

I love this. We mostly align. LOL I buy a lot of Pepsi Max. I dont drink coffee but like the caffeine. I got 1 Christmas card last year....was 1 more than I sent. As for souveniers... OMG! Biggest waste of money ever. We all have cameras on our phones. Shaving cream? I didn't realise women even used it. I've never watched. LOL. I use it on my beard. Speaking of beards, why don't women grow beards? It's in their jeans! 🤔🤔 Keep up the inspiring work.

I also don't buy many of the same things...but living at home some of these items are around for me to use without buying them. But if I were on my own, that doesn't mean I would buy it. I feel like right now in my life, I buy almost nothing!
