I'll tell you, this season gave me a freshness about the franchise, it's been a LONG time since I've been happy watching something in the original format Super charismatic characters (Not you Chase), a solid story, interesting challenges and adaptation to current times made me love the season. Of course, she's not perfect, but that could apply to any other season. I'm really happy to be enjoying this moment of franchise revival, I really hope it's successful and that it continues to follow in this format that we love so much!

Some others things right with the series 51 bowie × Raj 52 the fact that Damian came to the show not knowing the game 53 chef being the one to keep Chris from going to far 54 3 people finally 54 scary girl being total chaos 55 scary girl confessions being hilarious 56 the fact we actually got a disabled character in zee Now some suggestions for 50 wrong things in the season 1 the fart episode 2 the fact chase isn't really good in any challenge considering the fact he is based on people who do crazy dares on the internet you expect he would atleast be good at some challenges 3 mille - as I see it now she pretty much was like cody in wt riding on pryia back and not even trying to this on her own (unlike Cody who tried but still got carried) 4 millie being a finalist feal really undeserved for me 5 nichelle 6 the fart episode (if you watched most of the others video he repeates some points a lot 7 all the references/cameos where mostly contained to 1 episode

You did an outstanding job writing this video Dramatic Scar! I thought that the reboot of Total Drama Island was really amazing with how it went above and beyond for a modern day audience with old and new fans getting to see what this reboot to the series has to offer. As growing up I first watched Total Drama Island when it first aired back in 2007 and its nice to see what the show writers got right with this first season of the reboot after the decline of the series quality in the later seasons of the original. It really feels like with how well this first season to the reboot did with introducing the new contestants and how their relationships evolved through the season. But I hope that we get more storylines in season 2 with players who didn't really get enough time in the spotlight to shine.

Zee fooled everyone into thinking he was gunna be an early boot on first reveal. But not only did he make it to to the merge, he stole everyone's hearts with his spacey yet genuine personality. I feel zee won't make it too far next season sadly but if the stars align where we get a zee VS mk finale next season, pitting both characters whose strengths were slipping under the radar but in different ways, zees in a more sociable and nonchalant way, and Mks In a more antisocial and deceptive way, I will be very happy

Can we acknowledge how most of these characters are versions of earlier characters of earlier seasons? (Mostly better) For example: Zee = Ezekiel/Rock Ripper= Owen/Sugar Damien=Dave MK=Noah Scary Girl= Gwen (total dramarama) Wayne and Raj= Katie and Sadie Priya=Zoey Axel=Eva Caleb=Justin Chase=Devin (kind of) Am I the only one seeing this? Thankfully, I really like most of these characters

Was looking forward to seeing this video, quite fun :3 Honestly I'm so relieved how Ripper was handled in this season, as someone who was looking forward to him heavily at the start I was worried he might turn out bad but no! He actually was everything I could've hoped for. He's got some amazing one-liners, his voice actor Fred Kennedy is perfect as the role, he may make a fair bit of fart jokes sure but they gave reason for why he does that kind of stuff AND it feels like after Episode 5, once he reached his goal, he stopped doing that as much, if at all. Easily one of my favorites of the franchise. Bowie, Zee, Julia, Raj & Wayne, so many of these characters were fantastic. It feels like a return to the show. And I also wanna shoutout Terry for a second. It's awesome seeing him get more involved with the fanbase on Twitter, and has been actively defending the show's decisions for their LGBT relationships & LGBTQ people in general. Man has done wonders, and I cannot be happier to be a TD fan right now. One more note but it feels weird that the show's about to turn 16 years old, we're about to reach the age where the show is as old as the original 22 were when it started in 2007, wild.

Bowie is a King!!!! I thought they were going to overdo it with LGBTQ scenes and all to acomodate to modern times but I was pleasantly surprise it was not the case, or it felt so natural I did not care. Despite Bowie introductory line being about how he is TD first openly gay character, like he was reading his own character descripction on a wiki, he went to become my favorite character of the new gen, alongside Scary Girl. The Hockey bros, Ripper, Julia, maybe Damian were others I liked as well. The tradition episodes like the fart one and the eating challenge acomplished their purpose, the main problem I see with this season however is that some of the character outright feel like filler, wich is to balme to a bigger problem plaggin the franchise since over ten years ago I believed, and that is reducing the number of episodes per season, imagin a full 24-26 episode season for this cast, that woul've been the most glorious comeback. Also, the fact that apparently every episode has a different writer, it takes away some consistency but I they made the best of it. Glad he made it to the finale, he deserve it and earned it, I'm a relieved that given how finales work in TD Bowie winning is equally canon, hope that is the one that airs on my country eventually

This is what happens when you have good writing I loved this season so much, despite the fact that I felt they chose the most interesting characters to be early boots. Julia was definitely the best character in the show, but I wish we had seen more of her rivalry with MK. Mk as an antagonist was way more original and interesting😢

*Theories:* 1. Emma is the daughter of Geoff and Bridgette, since she mentions the former's name in an episode, and actually resembles the two of them perfectly. Plus, since it takes place 15 years after Pahkitew Island, it makes sense for Geoff and Bridgette to be old enough to have children of their own. And Geoff may have named her Emma because he might've seen Noah, someone he might remember competing against, having a relationship with someone else named Emma, so that was the main reason he gave his daughter that name. 2. Shawn might've been brave enough to star in zombie movies, and/or TV shows, explaining why there's a stand-in of him as a zombie, and that movie or TV Show may have starred Nichelle. (Something that might frighten Duncan, if he's ever rehabilitated.) 3. Dwayne Jr. and Wayne are the same person, as he might've changed his name in order to avoid confusion with his father, and he became a strong hockey player, and that's where he met Raj.

The only things I didnt like about the season were: 1. The Intro: I just dont like the lyrics and the instrumental 2. Bowie: I disliked him the most, because I found him pretty annoying and didnt really like his design or personality. The only thing I liked was his relationship with Raj. 3. I didnt like some of the "modern" elements, since some had this "Oh these kids today" or "Look! We are cool and modern!" energy for me. The Rest was amazing

Well it sure has been a long time but hey it's here and yeah i love this season it isn't the best but its still really good the characters are all great with my favorites being : Damien, Wayne, Raj, Julia, Bowie, Scary girl, Zee just so many good characters all around if i had to pick one that i disliked it would probably be Ripper but i can't say i hated him he just kinda got annoying but still the chalenges are good, the drama is great, the comedy works yeah just a good season all around
